Because they have no margin. They are always in a hurry, and always plagued by interruptions and passerby that want something from them--time, energy, money. There is no quiet any more. Everywhere people go they are putting noise in their heads whether it is via their cellphones, ipods, or just the noise of everyday living. No one is getting any peace and quiet. Also, they are less likely to have the peace of the Lord.

because there are too many people in this world. It used to be peaceful where I live. Now you have more cars on the road and you can't get anywhere because one person is driving two miles an hour. Or your getting groceries and have to stand in line for thirty minutes because of all the people. And seeing people pay with food stamps while you have to pay cash. Can't get anything done anymore, peacefully. Always rush, get out of my way.

Maybe they are crashing on Paxil? Perhaps they are late for work, they've spilled coffee on themselves and they forgot to wear pants? Maybe, just maybe, they wish that you would untie them, let them out of your basement, and stop stabbing them with that screwdriver. That is very rude, so I do not blame them for being being angry.
