So far I have a degree in communication studies, and I'm now wondering if that is a recognized degree in this field. I’d like to consider the idea of being able to use that, to get into a master program in this study.

Just looking for the education requirements, and if I can use my communications degree as the bachelor degree component. If anyone knows the salary figure for this career that would be helpful too.

Thanks

People always say you have to love yourself first before you can love another but how can you tell if you really love yourself? I can say that I love myself but how can I prove it? What are the signs of loving yourself and if you find out that you don't love yourself how can you love yourself more?

My wife is a lovely person (albeit with a strong personality), who has not had much success at all in working alongside colleagues who do not seem to want to help her integrate into the team. She feels that people are against her in the sense of rivalry, as she is both attractive AND intelligent, and from my point of view women tend to see this as a threat (as has also been said by other women the same as her). Due to this happening so many times in different jobs, she is now suffering from severe depression and panic attacks and cannot find a way out of the situation. She now feels that there is nowhere that she will be welcome and is in a very bad way. Any advice for her would be greatly appreciated.

Good people fail to get what they want even if they say they truly want it. How comes good people fail? What comes into their way to success and happiness in any sphere of their lives? What is the difference bettwen someone success and someones loses, given that they do the same thing?

My friend was insisting me to watch the movie names "X-Men" and so I did... For me it was just a piece of crap... I dont think that there are anything like mutants in this world... having "Goddy" powers... like someone who can change the weather with her thinking... or someone who can attract the metals towards him... or someone who can penetrate through a wall... What do you think is it possible or not...? Do you think your mind can work wonders...?

I have a sixth sense. Sometimes I know what people are going to say before they say it, and i can sense when things are wrong. Like the other day i was having a shower and i just KNEW the door wasnt locked even though i had not recollection of not locking it. It happens all the time. How can i use it to my best abilities and make it stronger?

At least once a week, an uncommon phrase will crop up in daily life more than once. You know the saying 'touch wood', well i heard it three times in one day? Today I saw the words 'a charmed life' twice, each one in a different magazines. These are just recent examples, i've had loads in the past months. What is this? Does it mean anything?

When I am in many places, if I think about this, it again happens and I feel like I can't understand what's going on. I really can but I just feel that way. I feel like I can't think properly, I can't learn properly and I can't understand what is happening though I can really understand everything. It's just like a feeling and it happens mainly when I think about it and I think about it everytime. It gives me discomfort. Please give me some answers. Specially if u r a doctor or mental psychologist.

Yesterday, my house was surrounded by a big group of gang members..Me and my family were going to be killed and there was no way out.

Another night, i had a nightmare where my me and my family were at home and the Taliban came and burned down our house and were going to kill us.

In real life i'm shy but well I haven't experienced shyness much recently Because I avoid going to places that make me shy. Is shyness one of the reasons why i get these dreams?

The real self is oppressed the moment that the world distracts you
from trusting your own intuition. This happens at a very early age.
The false identity people are injected is formed through the
socialisation process, which starts when the child is 2-3 years old.
Before then, the child would play by itself, in its own world.

Because the socialisation process is seen by society as a necessity
for the child to learn how to become a piece in the social machinery,
the crime it represents is ignored. -Even by those who have the
intelligence to see it for what it is. The social norms that decide
how people relate to each other, represent a prejudice no one is
allowed to challenge.

For the past couple of weeks, I've had no motivation to really do anything. I don't feel like cleaning or doing laundry. I hardly want to shower... I basically want to just sit.

I don't feel depressed, in fact, I'm pretty happy.... I just don't want to do anything...

What the heck is causing this? Anyone else ever feel this way?

As I see it, every person has a child and a grownup within him/her.
The child in women is partly reflected in the socially defined
femininity, where the woman is supposed to resemble the sweet little,
innocent girl. It is all a game, of course, but yet, it allows women
to show vulnerability, a privilege men don't have, as the masculine
role is all about self-confidence and strength.

I believe all people have a need to feel both strong and vulnerable,
and that it is against the human nature to associate strength and
dominance to gender. This is perhaps obvious, but still not
implemented, even in the part of the world where women's liberation
has come far.

It is good to feel the trust in another person who's willing to show
his/her inner child to you,
just as much as it is a relief to be allowed to show your own
vulnerability to someone who accepts you for who you are.

The lack of balance leads to that while men are deprived of being
allowed to show their vulnerability, women pay the price of male
condescending for showing theirs.

It is all so very dumb.
