I hate to hear that you have lost your grandmother. Good friends are blessings from the Lord. May He comfort you in your time of mourning.

When death comes to a loved on..you find out how many friends you have, and how blessed you are. This is a good reason to be there for others when your help is needed.

Yes, you really know who your true friends are following a tragedy. People you can depend on really step up at that time.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine how hard that is for you to deal with. Be strong! ((hug))

Totally. I too have been having a tough time and last week i had one of the most soul-destroying weeks of my life but my friends have been so amazing and pulled me through it. It is hard to return to normal when you feel so bad- but that is what your friends are for.... they share the burden of pain and allow you to grieve properly.

Also, through talking to friends you are "desensitising" yourself to the event. Sharing a problem reduces threat/pain and allows us to re-experience the trauma in the safe setting of our friends.
