Your eyes would dry up and trust me it would not be fun. Your eyes have to have lubrication by blinking or being closed. Plus I don't think it's possible. And why do you want to? LOL

Actually, sleeping with your eyes open is acheivable...Its not sleeping actually, but clearning your mind of everything around you...so you can go into a trance like state. Psychologists have successfully trained people to do this. People have been known to dream in this state, so their dreams can be remembered more easily in an effort to counsel themselves as to the problems they are experiencing. How to do it though, is another thing. Maybe you need to do a bit of research and find someone who knows what they are doing. Maybe get in contact with a Buddhist monk, they are renowned for incredible control of their minds. Good luck.

No you cannot learn to sleep with your eyes open, sometimes they do open while you are sleeping...But to sleep with your eyes open would dry them out and they would not feel good the next day....Sleeping with ones eyes open is a figure of speech, about being aware of what is going on while you are sleeping.

my cat could sleep with one eye open because the vet had to surgically remove its eyelid due to a tumor, we had to keep putting salve in the eye though cause it would have gone dry, and been painful which is why you cannot sleep with your eyes open unless you are tlaking about eternal sleep then the undertaker or mortician would grant your wish and leave your eyes open I am sure

I think it is, but the only way I can do it is by daydreaming. I guess I always thought sleep was when you're in a phase of floating in dreams or nightmares.

Use something to keep them propped open, like clothes pinchers. Eventually, your eyes will get used to it and you will not need to blink, ever...But it might not work and you could lose your eyesight lol..
