My doc knows I'm really depressed about being single and the only options he gave me are to either deal with it or go to the psych hospital for a re evaluation.
The mental hospital won't do much because my problem won't be solved by talking (tried seeing four different psychologists over a couple of years although I do talk to my friends often) and I already was sent to the hospital a few years ago b/c of a suicide attempt.
Already on the max dosage of anti depressants but they don't help.
Does it matter if I'm 16 and have clinical depression.

I had a really in-depth dream last night. I dreamed that I was pregnant (this fate isn't possible I’m not dating and I’m still a virgin). I dreamed I was telling my friends and walking around with my big belly at college. I went swimming which made me go into labor went to the hospital and had a child. It was a girl. I was mad because I always wanted a boy before a girl.

Apparently I had another baby in my stomach but it was due at a later date. I don’t know where the first baby goes for the rest of the dream. My manager from work had a discussion with me and I spoke of how these babies would ruin my life because they were mine forever. That my college years were destroyed because of the babies. They I went to see the doctor and his wife was Dr Addison Sheppard from Greys Anatomy and they gave me pills 2 keep the other baby in my tummy healthy.

Does this dream have any meaning at all or is it just dumb randomness...

I know it's christmas, i know i have 2 children and should be happy, but i really find this time of year tiresome, and albeit i do have 2 children but i am still lonely and i still miss the man i loved. He has been gone for five years now (Not my kids dad i hasten to add) long story but we had to finish as he had a problem with my children. It isn't a magic trick or anything, because I've had him pick up MY books and do it, or books at the bookstore- he ALWAYS does it right. Basically, he can pick up a book and turn it to any page you tell him to. Just flip right to it. If I say "Turn to page 145" He will open the book right up to it. He is almost never wrong, and when he is by like one page. He does it with books at the bookstore, with my books, his books. He isn't a savant, though he is highly intelligent. What does this mean, what does he have?

Naturally, at this time of year, as the christmas movies approach, I live in fear that ET may suddenly stalk my screen. Its a weird problem I know, and I am deadly serious.. If i see a picture of the friendly alien, I will jump, scream or make a shocked noise, followed by crying but also laughing because I realise this is rediculous. But the odd bit is, once ive seen the picture I am perfectly fine, and can look at it as many times as I want after ive known its there as I have prepared myself and will expect to see ET, it is literally the shock of seeing ET that causes those stupid reactions. I can quite happily type in ET into a search engine and look at pictures, as long as I am prepared for it!
I was scared as a child, and I have never grown out of the fear.

Can anyone explain my weirdness?
Is it a 'phobia', as I am not actually scared of ET, its just the weird jumping and screaming and crying that makes me wonder!
Has anyone else got a similar fear?
Thanks!! seriously..!

If I could point a magic gun at people I don't wish to deal with and turn them into persons whom i could never see or hear, so that although they would remain alive, and even might be present with me in the same place, yet to me it would be as if they never exist or have exited ever. They would turn into non persons, they would turn into ______________________

English is my second language. I have a great deal of education in language and linguistics. The problem is when I get to talk orally to people I get very shy and confused that I mispronounce some words and mess words up and struggle to make a sentence especially in long conversations like talking to a hairdresser. I have no difficulties in pronounciation and usually I correct poeple speech inside myself. I don't know how can I get over this shyness and confusion I really wanna talk clearly and in correct tone and stress. Is this something to do with my personality ?? Can I do something about it? Please give me serious ideas. I feel ashame that I lose the courage to talk in English as best as my knowledge in it. My English grammar is very good though, but when I speak I slow don. I hate myself when I speak...... help!

I have just moved to Australia. I have a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Forensic Psychology. I want to work as a Psychologist. I am in the process of choosing between undertaking a PhD (three years as a full paying International Student - $90,000 for 3 years) or choosing to undertake Chartership to become a Psychologist in Australia (two years - $15,000 for 2 years).

I wonder whether having a PhD would offer me more job prospects compared to having Chartership status as a Psychologist? I am very confused, and as I don't have any practical experience as a Psychologist (i.e. working as a Psychologist), I wonder if it would be more beneficial to gain this experience. Would being a Chartered Psychologist offer me better job prospects in Australia? and across the World?

Any help would be appreciated. Only serious answers please.

Lately, I've been feeling a little like I'm in the Matix. It's a feeling that is very hard to describe... I wonder about where I am, am I really there, who really are these people, etc.
I feel like a stranger in my own world, like I'm not sure if these things really exist.
It's sort of scary and i wish I could stop feeling this way.
Is this some kind of disorder? What should I do? Am I the only one?
