Nauseatingly hypersensitive, I'm constantly having to watch my body language/tone of voice/level of banter in order to keep the peace. This is my sister I'm dealing with, so I MUST find a way to bring peace to the relationship - I can't just write her off as another toxic person. In the past week, I've heard her say the she is "one of the most intelligent people on the planet," that she's going to "start interviewing" her friends for an upcoming road trip - but she'll settle on going by herself because she really only loves herself . . . . an on and on and on . . . . . WOW!

For us to be of principals, to believe that we are different from one another because we have created some concept of self, one that values values that may be of not much more value other then to convince us that such things make us better or worse than another... To feel righteous enough to disregard, make light, or justify the fact that we judge others, isn't it to distract us from the fact that in doing so, we are really judging ourselves, whats up with that? To acknowledge knowledge as much more than ignorance and thus project our own expectations of ourselves onto others in attempts to control something other then one's physical body, for the sake of achieving our own ends... Can peace be achieved as long as there is an accepted authority, for reasons of manipulation and control of anyone other then the self?

Only few furtunates spend 25-30 years in struggle of learning and gets prepared for real lives. Then starts another struggle of setteling down. It takes atleast 5-10 years to settle down in life. We spend just a couple of year smoothly and then we again start worrying about our kids. When I calculate the gains & losses of life there is no profit at all. So why should we get into this business.

My curiosity was piqued yesterday when I was at my cousin's house and noticed the empty roll of toilet paper on the holder and a halfway used roll on the floor. I assume people were too lazy to put on the holder because I remember it being like that in our house growing up. Are there any other examples?

I am having a hard time with my boyfriend and his son.Things are tense between my BF and I because I will not allow his son to move in. The kid, 12, is violent and unstable, keep that in mind before you call me selfish.Anyway, he gets angry at me for very little things, he just yelled at me for leaving the refridgerator door open for about a minute while I got things out and put them back.I said, "please stop overreactng, you yell at me way too much and it is really starting to bother me." He stormed off to the spare room, at least hes quiet now. Lately I have been, as much as I hate to admit it, self centered. I refused to give a coworker a ride home the other day. It was only a little out of my way, and she would only have to wait about 45 minutes for her husband to pick her up, its not like she was stranded.I just dont feel like doing favors for anyone. I have put up very few Christmas decorations. My BF's son will be here next week and I am NOT looking forward to it.

I'm not saying these things never work as accurate prejudgements, but why do many persons recommend such dubious methods for making discriminations?

I don't understand why anyone would, in good conscience, tell someone else to simply trust his instincts, when that's such an unsound basis for forming an opinion. Why tell someone his feeling that his neighbor is evil is probably justified? Why say the negative vibe he "picked up" from the neighbor is probably true, as if vibes can't be wrong? Do few people see how bigotted that is?

Does anyone agree with me?

I wish more so how amoral it is to do that.

Can be anything like reading comics, playing games, watching a dvd or working on a report, unless its a must-do-thing like my daytime job, but for weekends, I just don't have the mood to do things during daytime and even if I do, I will get easily distracted and that current activity will usually last only for awhile like 30 mins, many times, I will just take a few hours of nap and wake up in the evening, but when its nighttime, I find that I will want to do many things. I really hope to find someways where I can trigger myself to do things during the daytime because its a waste of time if I don't. Any advices?

I am very attracted to a woman at work, but she is in a position of power. When I went to see her about something at Occupational health, she held my eye contact for about 6 - 10 seconds whilst talking to me, unblinking. Not sure if she was on a power trip or was flirting with me, as I find her sooooooo sexy! What do you think? I want her!

I`m an INFP and I was wondering if a career in engineering would be fulfilling. For some reason technology calls to me. I`m fascinated by machines, how they work, and even deeper issues like how they affect other people. What I mean is that sometimes I like to read about destructive weapons and nuclear devices..why is this? Is it just another dimension of my personality? I`m also a teenage girl and I know this probably isn`t a typical interest. Can someone elaborate on this??

A lot of things in this life are addictive, and I can name several of my own but I don't want to give people ideas ;) Addiction does not only pertain to substances or things we intake into our bodies... I'm talking about all-around addictive behavior..

What are you addicted to?
