Psychology - December 2006

I cut I am 13 years old almost 14,I was asked why I cut and I said Because it is the only pain that I can ccontrol myself and the mental pain I feel is so bad that I would rather take it out on my body than my mental self...does this make sense to you?If you cut can you tell me your reasons?

read Four times, and try my best to put

into practice daily, it is called:

"Working with Anger !" It is written by a

woman with lots of intuitive insight. Her

name is Thubten Chodron. It teaches how to

develop and cultivate Patience daily. It's

encouraging and uplifting, as well!

I've had the same type of dream for as long as I can remember (now it's the only dream I have). I'm with either my father, mother, or sister (sometimes all three). I tell them something and they dismiss it. I scream, yell, and break things but they still brush me off. Eventually it reaches the point where I'm either trying to smash their face in with my fist or some object but nothing happens to them. This angers me even more.

I get angry to the point of waking up. I find myself trying to get back into the dream to "win" but never do. It leaves me mad the rest of my morning.

A recent variation of the dream had me running away from it but still it ends up the same way. My words are brushed off and I end up wanting to hurt them even after I wake up.

Is there anything I can do? I'm afraid of what it could mean later down the road or what I might end up doing and regretting.

last month, my best friend died, we knew each other for 10 years. 2 days after her death, i went insane, she was the only person i really connected with, i loved her so much. i became suicidal, i went to her house in her room where she had a bottle of vikadens stashed, i grabbed a handful and when i tried taking them something had hit my hand so hard to my face it wasn't even funny/ i freaked out forever. i dropped the bottle and ran home. that night when i couldn't sleep thinking about her, i saw shadows on the wall, vauge and yet clear. i swear i could hear her voice but i couldn't understand what she was saying. she invaded my dreams too, too this day every night i see her, i hear her and she talks to me. i know i;ll see her tonight but i dont knoe what to do,

I was married for ten years to a woman that cheated on me for 8. And the only other relationship I've had was a woman who left me for another man. In April, I saw a Sparrow fly into the glass cover of the bus stop at the hospital. Now I stayed with it and it survived. Dispite this, I keep getting the thought of it hitting the glass and it upsets me.

I feel like I want the council to make bus stop with clearly marked glass, maybe in a pattern so the birds know to aviod them.

I just don't want to go through the whole process of wondering if it will live or die and telling people to get of the path incase they walked on it.

I had to push some people gently to get there attention and I don't want to have to go through it all over again.

I understand that animals die, but I feel that it's our fault because birds can see through it and we put it there.

If it crashed into a bush and a cat ate it I would understand but the fact that we were responsable for this make me feel we need to make safer bus stops.

It was horrible, it lay on its back and opened and shut it mouth like it was asking for help, I never 2c that again

I come from a broken family, abused, lonely as a ************ and always thinking about my life and where im going. Am i destined to become a criminal, I dont know what to do. Is this just what society wants me to become, a criminal cuz im latino and we're meant to be put down. I bust my *** in school but i always resort to smoking weed, and skipping class when i feel the pressure. I know I am not going to enjoy Christmas as funds are very low and I will be in debt after, same as last year, can't seem to dig my way out, and believe me, I'm not a spendthrift.

I know what your all going to say, your health is more important, well I know that, but that's not too great either.

Just totally p..... of with life generally, makes you wonder what it's all about really.

Anyone in the same boat,and feel the same?
