If the person was born blind, they do not see images in their dreams, but can hear sounds. If the person was born deaf, their dreams are mute. If they became blind or deaf later in life, their dreams are normal. Dreams are a compilation of ideas and experiences from the previous day, but they may be distorted by your unconscious.

I'm no expert, but my personal theory is that dreams are our subjective awareness of the process of integrating recent short-term memory into the more permanent memories recorded in our brain. Kind of like temporary files being integrated into the hard drive. Just a hunch though. I think a person born blind or deaf would not have images or sounds, respectively, in their dreams. If they lost these faculties I suppose they might retain these in their dreams.

That is a very good question. I never really thought of that. But I think only deaf people can answer this on a computer.

I've had 3 dreams that have happened within a week of having them. And they're not just dreams like... I find something that I misplaced, but they're things like... well, I'm not allowed to say, but they're things that are definitely not normal regular things.

Yes, dreams are really a compilation of images and sounds from our past experiences or past lives

I look at it as our mind's "defragmentation programme". Whatever has been built up and didn't get processed properly in the waking stage gets done asleep. And yes, blind people dream of colour, and deaf people dream of sound - provided they've experienced them. Proves your theory, doesn't it?

It depends on weather they were born deaf/blind. If they've never experienced something, how can they dream it? If they had, and it's a memory, I don't see why not!

wow.. that a melon-scratcher...
1) Maybe, I've heard stories about reincarnation and that sort of stuff where you have weird dreams or sometimes have a really weird deja-vu thing.. such as a haunting...
2) I'm not sure... Maybe blind people can see colors.. but the question is.. how would they know?

first and foremost if a person is born blind or deaf they can not see or hear anything,so in that case it`s impossible.

There are different perspictives on these things. Some people believe in through a biological perspective and some believe it through it by a humanistic perspective.

No to the first question. Dreams are just your filthy imagination, that is truly all.
