The only inconceivable way as God would tell it. To never go against the absoluteness of yourself and all things.

I'm sure you've heard someone say: "The truth hurts." or "You can't handle the truth" !

These two statements lead to the question: why does the truth hurt? Seeing as, truth is the actual state of a matter, reality, or an indisputable fact. The answer to this question is that often times we get our dreams mixed up with reality leading to high expectations and sometimes disappointment.

When I see the word 'Truth' with a capital t, I think I'm dealing with someone who's misguided.

There is no Truth, there are only truths, most of which are trivial.

But people often try to stretch the word all out of whack -- which doesn't work very well.

People who use the capital t tend to think in terms of "Absolute Truth" or "Ultimate Truth" or some such grand and wrong-headed ideas.

Something that is importantly true to you may simply be false (religion, for instance), or be trivial to someone else.

I'll stick with the lower-case truth, thank you.

a wise man once said that: "truth will set you free."

now I'm not all that religious. if anything I'm an atheist, but how often have you got something off your chest, and how good did that make you feel ?

truth, i believe, is something personal, and can only be understood on a personal level. unlike facts which can be shared and verified, truth is all yours and yours alone.
