Are you asking how most people react to the idea of being alone, or is this really more a question that is a statement... That you feel isolated.
Any human being is wired to want to be connected with 'the tribe' and be integrated. But know yourself, value yourself, and realize you don't NEED others (or their validation if we are really talking about 'isolation/alienation' feelings.)

When i am alone i usually try to imagine there are many people around watching me and try to act as good as possible.Its always a good way to practise how to act and behave when in front of others.
