The brain is so amazing, and I don't think that everything I think of comes from me, thoughts are out there in the air, floating around for people to grasp with their minds. I think people can send their thoughts to others, to some extent.

And if one has a legitimate reason to be angry, should one "put the feelings aside" and "think positive" or should that person deal with what he feels has been wrongful that made him angry?

You knew that you had high intelligence, but everyone for years believed you were retarded for years because of one incident where you had an emotional breakdown. Then, later you were tested higher in aptitude than every other kid in your grade?

If your only parent died, and you were completely alone, and wanted to find a companion in college, but everyone perceived you were desperate so they steered clear?

Would this make you feel like you've been cheated in life? What would be your reaction if these things had happened to you?

we are bith in college, and we are in the same math class together. the teacher puts us in groups for the whole semister, and we have to do group projects. She gave us a number 1-5 and she and I were both 5's. We have like 7 people in our group. I know it's weird for a college class but the grades are based on group activities. Well we talk after class about the group projects and stuff. I found out that she had a b/f cause she was talking and was like "I have been dating this loser for 4 1/2 years" She made a face like its been a long time, so I might as well still date him or something like that. I don't know women well lol. We still talk like friends and we all shared e-mails, but I feel like its possiable she may like me, but is not clueing me in cause she has a b/f. I really haven't done anything with her since I have known her for 2 weeks. Any suggestions? I'm lost.

last night i had a dream that i cut off the top of my skull like the top of a boiled egg, and then i leaned forward to pick something up and my brain tipped out so i had to put it back in. but i was still able to think even tho my brain had fallen out and that took me by suprise. then i had to superglue the top of my head back on and i woke up in pain all around my head where the glue would have been. i almost believed it was really true when i woke up!! what can it mean??/?

I hate it when people tell me off for saying "morning" at 12.05. I think it remains morning until you eat lunch. And if I have a big night and wake up at 12, it's morning until I eat lunch at 3.

I am asking this question, because I realsised that I am not the same fun, happy positive person I used to be. My boyfriend is a negative person, sometimes it exhausts me. I have been with him for two years now, I know that I have changed, but I would like to get back to being a bit how I used to be, do you think that this is possible or do youthink that my personality was due to change anyway as i'm getting older. Is this just what happens??

Talking about it helps some with a tharapist. That & writing about it helps me remember more. Yet, I don't feel I've totally recovered. Far from it. I still hate certain kinds of men & I get very upset when I hear of men going to topless bars & bachelor parties. I wish that I wasn't attracted to bad men who end up hurting me really bad. There's usally some sexual abuse of some kind too & I feel violated all over again. Then I swear that I'm done with guys like him. I don't say when I wake up that day, "I want to find a guy today who will abuse me & disrespect me. Yep that's what I'm gonna do." Then I meet him, fall in love & the process starts all over again, like I'm stuck in some f**king time loop.

It is always the same conversation when I talk to my therapist about it & I feel like we haven't covered any new ground. Now maybe this isn't so. Maybe I'm actually doing a lot of healing in this therapy process & making a lot of progress & don't know it.

What do you suggest?

They have class. They have a high taste. They know how to mesmerize people. Their snobbish ways help them to brag about themselves to get a good job in the corporate sector. Are they really that invincible beings?
