Of course not Maddy. I think you already know this answer. Those who are snobs have a low self esteem and are using their gifts to excuse looking down on others, of allowing them to feel superior to others. A person who has high self esteem knows who they are and what their value is, yet feels no need to rub other's noses in it or look down on them. However, and sadly, all too many these days have low self esteem and so feel compelled to find something, anything, that makes them better than sombody else. This is sad. I would like to see people who have a low sence of self worth find a positive way to raise it rather than harm others. Harming others only lowers their feelings of self worth further, as deep inside they know their behavior is wrong.
Good question Maddy, have a great day! Serenity

The fact that they are snobs proves that they are *not* superior, not the other way around. I think you have it mixed up what a snob is though. A snob is someone who looks down at you, who thinks others are less than them because of what they have (even if they don't have much). Not all snobs have class, or high taste. Some people are snobs even though they have nothing ... they just have more than someone else so they become snobby about it.

Yes,snobs are superior.
They have made it,and no longer has to kiss every bodies @ss just to get by.
Wealthy people are not humble. They dont have to be.I do not have a clue to what wealth is,I dont even own my home,I rent.I often wonder what makes a rich man look down his nose at me.I have worked da*m hard all my life.I am honest and I have never cheated on my wife of 27 years.
But that counts for nothing:
I am poor white trash and will die poor white trash, yes, snobs are superior.Maybe it is not possible for a rich man to be humble.

1 Peter 5:5 ..."God opposes the haughty ones, but he gives undeserved kindness to the humble ones."
Proverbs 16:18 "Pride is before a crash, and a haughty spirit before stumbling."
Galatians 6:3 "For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he is deceiving his own mind."
Psalm 138:6Â "For Jehovah is high, and yet the humble one he sees; But the lofty one he knows only from a distance."
1 Corinthians 1:31 & 2 Corinthians 10:17 "But he that boasts, let him boast in Jehovah."
To God snobs are deceiving themselves of their greatness yet they walk like men. Jesus Christ showed meekness and lowly mind and he is greater than any human. Haughtiness only leads to destruction yet meekness leads to life.

Most people I knw with a lot of money dont act like snobs. They dont walk around bragging about what they own or anything like that. Its the people that THINK they have it going on that act that way. Real people knw that its a struggle to make it....and they remember where they come from.

they are only superior in their "minds." The truth is, many are conditioned, much like robots to "behave" a certain way. They really fail to grow because they are often"closed minded" & their interactions are generally with in their own kind. Not all are like that, however, one I can think of is Bill Gates. I really admire him. He made his billions on his own ingenuity and he is generous and wise!

Nope, they are just full of air. Too much confidence on themselves that deep inside they are shallow and lonely. It's just a facade or persona they show in public.

No - they are just the same as everyone else but have an air of self-importance about them that make them unbearable people to be around.
