And if one has a legitimate reason to be angry, should one "put the feelings aside" and "think positive" or should that person deal with what he feels has been wrongful that made him angry?

It serves no useful purpose to validate yourself by holding on to anger .That said , those feelings which led up to the anger , were , and are real . Work through them . Get past them .Accept that an experience may have been less than you deserve-but go forward -not backward . Learn from them . Above all , think positive. You can benefit from a pleasant demeanor and a good attitude . Try to see the bright side first ,instead of the negative . There's a silly line from a song that makes sense : " Take a frown and turn it upside down ".

I think that people can and should be angry when it's needed but screaming and swearing aren't neccessary.

Unless it's dealing with Charter Cable Telephone at 1 am because the phone system has a drop in power which causes the house alarm to go off...several times.

A pleasant demeanor/attitude is, like happiness, a true choice. People that are angry are afraid; for anger is one of the forms that fear takes. Most people do not realize it is based in fear, because fear is very clever at concealing itself in the "right" to feel angry or hurt or sad. For otherwise we would quickly give up our belief in fear's guidance, as it always leads us into troubled waters. By concealing itself, we thus blame others for those feelings, and give up the power to choose once again.

The real thing people must ask themselves, whenever they are angry or sad or hurt, is, "What am I afraid of?" Once they have isolated the fear or fears, which is usually a fear of loss of one sort or another, they are in a much better position to choose their best course of action, and to realize the outcome of those actions are a direct bi-product of their "choosing", as opposed to outside sources.

There are some people who you "know" to stay away from, because they "wear thier anger" on thier face!

They have such a hard life, or think that life isnt "fair" to them, or bad breaks in life that they dont know how to deal with thier anger and keep it with them all the time, waiting to "vent" it out on the very next person who talks to them or looks at them cross eyed.

I always try to think positive, as every day is a gift from my LORD,and I am on extended time, with these pacemakers that have been in my chest for over 13 years now.

People who dont know the value of life, or who hate the World, because they think that the "World owes them", will never be happy until they get "saved", and the LORD calls them to be with HIM. I feel sorry for people outside the LORD...

I wish you well..
