Love helps a lot, but there are all kinds of love, aren't there? Romantic love is usually only lust or infatuation or trying to feed your ego. Real love, such as mother to child; friend to friend, etc. can help you recover from even life-threatening illnesses. The other type can actually damage your health.

No, being in love is as much about pain as it is about pleasure. No one that has been in love could honestly say that they were never worried, upset, hurt, confused or etc...at some point.
Being HAPPY is the greatest feeling in the world. Actually I don't even think love is a feeling, it is more a state of being.

The greatest feeling is different for every person, its unique to them. you for example. say that you've been looking for love for 2 years and then you find some one who is every thing you've wanted. you would think that love is the greatest feeling.its what you have been anticipating for such a long time its what you feel strongest about. am i right? YES!!! i mean me for example. i have been waiting for my exam results all august and when i got my brilliant results i was so ecstatic no doubts. that was my strongest feeling. hope that answers your question mate.

There's too much pain involved with love. How about "relief"? There's not usually a painful side to it.
Relief when you pass a vital exam, relief when a baby is born safely, relief when you find someone who was missing, relief when you find something that was lost, relief when a journey is completed safely, relief when you discover you haven't got a dread disease, and so on.
