Provided they've made that choice for themselves? I've worked both as a Dominatrix and a a stripper in my life, and really enjoyed both. As a Dominatrix I enjoyed having my own business, making very good money, and I loved helping people accept and enjoy their sexuality. As a dancer, I made good money, got to pick and choose who I gave my time and attention to, and had a lot of fun learning pole dancing. So I find it a little insulting when other women say women are "exploited" by working in these industries, as if I was incapable of judging for myself and choosing my own path.

What are your thoughts?

I have a cap collection and my dorm-mates GF stole my fav ball cap. She asked can I wear it. I said Yes for the night. Then she never returned and she refuses to give it back. She is sort of tough and she has been wearing the hat alot. I have thought about taking it off her head, but I know she will try to strong arm and I am quiet, but not one to back down. She may throw a punch and if I punch back I'll be known as a woman hitter.. Then if I call campus security for theft, I'll be known as tattle tale. Fair is fair and I want my hat! Please advise?

Well, I'm probably being prejudiced.

But I'm getting tired of certain judgments.

For example, my brother says that women are obsessed about diets to attract men... (While I'd say that at least most are to feel good with themselves...)

In my town, some years ago, just because I was touching my finger, some men started saying I wanted to get married (and even that I was hitting on them)...

My father used to assume the worst of other people, and dared to say that women were sexually active, sluts or whores because of superficial things... (He even told me very offensive things with no basis...)

Etc, etc, etc...

Why are men's minds so corrupted?

This actually hurts our relationship sometimes. After a successful romp, she's very loving and affectionate. Lately she's had additional pressures causing stress in her life and her success rate reaching climax has dropped to around half the time. Sometimes when this happens she withdraws from me emotionally and remains frustrated and sad for up to 12 hours or so. Is this something I should be concerned about, or should I just be okay with it?

Phrases such as "women and children first" imply that the lives of all children and one gender are more important than the lives of all men.
Responders in GWS will often write about things like having to work to support women and children, and having to go to war for women and children. When they are discussing male "superiority," or what it is "men do", versus what it is that "women do," these two things are often mentioned. As a culture, or generally speaking, does western society still believe "women and children first?" If so, how is it shown? If not, why not?

Does no one remember the feminist uproar following Newt Gingrich's sexist statements about women in combat?

Aren't the majority of politicians responsible for such legislaton, men?

Are you who blame feminists for this inequality aware of feminist opposition to it?

In the spirit of equality....here goes....
1. Do you experience other people paying for your dates, or occasionally even picking up the tab in non-romantic settings? Or paying for your vacations when the relationship moves along?
2. Do you occasionally experience subservience and deference being volunteered to you by the opposite sex (opening doors, giving up a seat in the bus, standing up when you come in the room)?
3. Are you able to pursue what you are interested in at university without much societal pressure on "breadwinning" - although you could also take that route if it so interests you?
4. Have you never been required to register for selective service? Would you never be ripped out of your life and forced to defend your country in time of attack or national emergency? Can you demand strength and full participation in society, but then get out of this obligation by pretending to be weak with no influence over society (but only when it suits you)?

against feminism and equality. They even went as far with comparing people who criticize female sex supremacists to people who opposed the blacks rights movement. Do you think this comparison is accurate ? Why ? Why not ?
If we stick to the comparison who are the female sex supremacists, the ones who want equal laws and rights or the ones who oppose equal laws and rights and want special laws and rights ?

So, I'm a guy and before the pill was invented I knew a woman would have to be responsible with her body. She would have to think twice about who she laid down with and a steady BF was always the thing to be had. Now, as a man I have to worry becuase she is free to screw anyone without repercussions. Personally, I think the pill did nothing but screw-up and drive distance between men and woman. Men are the better half of woman, and woman are the better half of men. Men should be accountable to woman and woman should be accountable to men. Being free and an individual are just words and thoughts. They are not the actual. The guy that invented the pill should have had his head chopped off! You would never see the pill in the middle east because they know better than westerners.

I had to break it off with one of my ex-girlfriends once because she had no peace in her life and had to be in control of everything. She was a lovely person, but nothing in the world would make her happy. She was constantly stressed. Given that the financial side of things wasn't a problem, I suggested that she become a housewife at which point she responded:
WHAT AM I, YOUR SLAVE?
I promptly suggested that I become her house husband, to which she responded:
WHAT ARE YOU A BUM?

The12 Helpful Suggestions for Men Regarding Conduct in Feminist Spaces (though it could be helpful to some women, too):
1. Realize it's not all about you. No, really! Shocked? This is because:

Corollary to Rule 1: Feminism is about women. Girls, ladies, females, grrrrlz, womyn, wimmin, whatever you call them, it's about us. It's for us, by us. Not how you feel harmed or threatened by feminism or women, or about how you are oppressed as a man. We know that patriarchy affects all people negatively - but this isn't the space to draw attention to how men suffer. I strongly encourage you to form your own men's group to discuss those issues.

2. Check your privilege. Yes, you have it. We all have different kinds of privilege, but you, as a man, have male privilege. Just because you don't feel privileged doesn't mean you don't have it. Recognizing that you have privilege does not mean that you have never suffered.

-and wanted to keep the child (when you didn't want to have any children yet), ladies, what would you do?
1. Support your partner as best as you can? Financially and emotionally?
2. Leave the man to deal with it on his own?
3. Push for an abortion?
4. Other? Explain?

What if the man didn't want the child at all and decided to terminate the pregnancy, what would you do?
A. Support the mans decision, after all it's his body?
B. You really want the child and would try to convince the man not to abort?
C. Other?

If the situation with pregnancy was reversed, would women be completely comfortable with men having the final say in what happens?

because men who crave sex are not that picky when it comes to good looks. guys are even sexually attracted to girls of below average looks. why do you think so many teenage guys fantasize about their friends' moms?

there is this woman in my martial arts class. she is somewhat chubby and she looks like she is in her early or mid 30s, but i think she is so hot. she has pretty eyes and the way she looks at me is just sexy. girls, on the other hand, always focus on a guy's negative features. that is why they are only attracted to a really small percentage of guys. so is it really fair to say that women crave sex as much as men do?
