But men cannot claim special abilities over women, e.g., a Harvard President is ousted for suggesting gender differentials in Science, but a department head of Philosophy can successfully claim female superiority in the morals of compassion.

A man will beat up, or at least sternly address/warn a man that is being physically or verbally inappropriate with his girlfriend. Why is it that women in America don't stick up for their men if it were the same vice-versa? Remember when Leonardo DiCaprio got cut with a broken bottle by some random crazy woman. DiCaprio's woman sat and did nothing. This wouldn't be the case if a man did this to his girlfriend. He'd let him have it. A man isn't supposed to hit a woman, and most men will not hit a woman. The only alternative is for a woman to do something about it when another woman is out of control. It's acceptable for a woman to hit another woman if that is the only form of resolution. Why don't women in America stick up for their men?

Women, if you saw a woman spit in your boyfriend or husband's face, or saw her being verbally abusive to him, or saw her punch him, would you let her have it? Or would you just sit there and let him deal with it himself because "he's the man"?

One would assume that women, who tend to be lighter, would have huge success as racers, yet there are very few women who race and even less who win.
(and please avoid the everyone is beeing sexist card, we have 2007).

I just spent the weekend with my girlfriend and it was fantastic. But now she wants a deeper commitment. She wants me to dump my other two girlfriends and date her exclusively. Of course this will not happen. So their goes another good thing.. ruined because women always need "commitment".

Why can't we all just have a good time ladies? I'll commit, but asking me to make you number one is just asking too much. Brad is number one.

OK so you have the stereotypical nerd guy who is all star trek and lives in his parents basement. Is there an equivalent in the female crowd (but not necessarily the same sci-fi interests?). Is the "nerd spectrum" for women much less defined? I'm doing some research on female nerds and need some examples or a web site or something.....

Studies show that tall men (6'0"+) and short women (5'0"-5'3") have the most "reproductive success" (i.e. they are more sexually attractive). Just curious as to why this is and if its more cultural or biological?

I really want to know. My boyfriend wants me to stay shaved and smooth, but he rarely trims himself.

Why are men like this? Don't they know how bad it hurts to cut yourself down there, how bad nair burns, and how tortuous it is when it grows back, because it itches like HELL and we can't scratch at it? I don't find it disgusting to have pubic hair as long as it's trimed and under control, but if Steve (boyfriend) ever sees it, the mood tends to die almost instantly.

Could someone please educate me as to why men hate hair on women, but have man pube-fros of their own?

in a court of Muslim law ?

How can they forbid
a woman to ever feel sunlight on their face ?

how can they let the husband rape her any time he feels like it ?

and why don't woman of the West get better informed about these facts ?

----------------- Maclans Jan 06 article follows

The war on terror is the real women's issue

Feminists whine about life in the West but they won't fight the bigger issue

Anyone can beat up post-feminist neutered Western Males!
Why not pick on a target worth the effort ??

Don't forget the Muslims agenda! Remember Marc Lepine ? He was born Gamil Gharbi , the son of an Algerian Muslim wife beater--Though you wouldn't know that from the press coverage

Men enjoy the right to rape women under Muslim law all over the world and the number of countries under sharai law have only increased in the last 50 years --so more and more women have lost the right to CONTROL THEIR BODIES. THE MUSLIM TALIBAN FORBID WOMEN (BY LAW ) FROM sunlight

As written, the Ohio bill would ban women from seeking an abortion without written consent from the father of the fetus. In cases where the identity of the father is unknown, women would be required to submit a list of possible fathers. The physician would be forced to conduct a paternity test from the provided list and then seek paternal permission to abort. Simply put: no father means no abortion.

In addition, women would be required to present a police report in order to prove a pregnancy is the result of rape or incest.

With the proposal, men would be guaranteed that voice under penalty of law. First time violators would by tried for abortion fraud, a first degree misdemeanor. The same would be the case for men who falsely claim to be fathers and for medical workers who knowingly perform an abortion without paternal consent. http://www.recordpub.com/news/article/2327981

What is right about this bill? What if you didn't want to file a rape or incest report with the police?

Pharmacists have sued Washington state over a new regulation that requires them to sell emergency contraception, also known as the "morning-after pill."

Under the new state rule, pharmacists with personal objections to a drug can opt out by getting a co-worker to fill an order. But that applies only if the patient is able to get the prescription in the same pharmacy visit.

Sold as Plan B, emergency contraception is a high dose of the drug found in many regular birth-control pills. It can lower the risk of pregnancy by as much as 89 percent if taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex. The federal Food and Drug Administration made the morning-after pill available without prescription to adults last year.

Why become a pharmacist, if you don't want to dispense drugs? Many pharmacists also refuse to dispense prescription birth control pills and over the counter forms of birth control.

Ok.. for the sake of argument, lets take reproduction out of the picture and say that humans reproduce Asexually (without the need for intercourse). So women produce more women and men produce more men, but women and men don't need to really associate.

Which gender would be more successful at life? You have to consider that women need men for protection, access to resources, jobs, etc. Since men basically build the modern world. You also have to take into consideration the fact that men stick together and women treat each other like dog crap.

What does this say for the argument that men and women are equal?

This belongs here in this category, as there are so many children living in terrible conditions that would benefit from a family that want to have an extended family. This question comes to me after reading this:

http://www.onenewsnow.com/2007/08/arkansas_couple_welcomes_17th.php

Perhaps some will ask what I am doing about this myself (and it would be a good question).
I can't take care of a child right now, but I have adopted an African girl through a program where by an amount of money a month, pays for her education and other basic things.

have women these days become self indulgent spoiled brats? Why do so many assume that their feelings are so important and that the world revolves around them? When I grew up, before I met my husband I never heard women moaning about "relationships", in fact I don't think the word existed back then. We were too busy working and building a future for ourselves. I expected that the feminist movement would have toughened up women, but the majority these days couldn't make it their own if their life depended on it. And these women expect equality?...don't make me laugh.

Another poster said:

"Men hold doors open for women. Women don't hold doors open for men.

Men always are nice and strike up conversation with women. Women never initiate conversation with men, act stuck up, and act aloof and unconcerned.

Men say women are beautiful. Women say/pretend the male figure is ugly and not to be appreciated.

Men's moods are relatively steady. Women have PMS and various mood swings and emotionally-distraught outbursts.

Men accept responsibility for their actions, and "toughen up" when times get hard. Women blame all of their problems on men.

Women in the workplace tend to be catty, emotional, jealous, and bring their personal lives in to the situation, and female bosses tend to be catty. Men set their personal lives and emotions aside to get the job done. Studies show both men and women prefer male bosses."

What do you think? I think there is a lot of truth to this.

I've read/heard that most women were really bisexual to varying degrees. I wonder how true this is. Therefore, this is a question for women who would normally count themselves as being straight...

The thought of making love to another woman is:

A. Exciting. I'd try it/have already tried it.
B. Exciting in a sense. Probably wouldn't try it though.
C. Repulsive.
D. Not sure/depends/I'm open to persuasion.
E. Other (specify)
