A beard is a distraction? Huh. I guess I never noticed in all the 23 years that I've known my father to have one. My mind just never wandered off while he was talking because I was busy staring at his beard. (Yet it often does for men busy staring at a woman's t.its. Strange.) I never had to say, "Dad, I'm sorry. I just can't take you seriously or listen to you or comprehend you or even treat you like a human being while you're wearing that FLOCKING BEARD on your face."

Hmm. But suddenly boobs peeking out make women unworthy of being heard or respected or generally treated like human beings. How nice.

Today, it was 103 degrees. I wore a tank top for my personal comfort. Last week, I went out on a date with a man I hope to bed, but I showed no cleavage. Two years ago, I was recovering from a nasty relationship, I wore tee shirts and jeans for twelve months. When I was eighteen, I wore very short skirts and my **** were always hanging out because I was proud of their beauty.
And I am sure there will come a point when I simply will choose whatever is clean and comfortable.
Call it whimsy.

I usually wear v necks that show just the top ot the crack. If I don't, it just looks like two watermelons under a tent. Which also makes me look bigger. The slight cleavage pulls the eyes away from the roundness of them. I hope so at least.

I adore men with beards. I don't think it's a distraction.

I have a friend who insists on only wearing tight clothes that display her massive cleavage. She's 53 years old and weighs 260 lbs. Those things hit the floor, for God's sake. When I suggest she might want to wear something more appropriate she just laughs and says she likes the attention. Yeah, she gets attention all right, none of it positive. She also claims she gets guys in their 20's hitting on her. I say baloney.

I believe if you've got it, you don't have to flaunt it.

No. A distraction is 'like' a man growing a giant eyeball right smack dab in the center of his forehead. Like a Cyclops.

I find it really distracting when guys do that.

The way I read your question is that man grows beard to hide what's hidden behind it. Don't think women show cleavage to hide anything link a dumb brains or ugly face. Usually its the confident women who shows cleavage.

All depends on the woman. It can range anywhere from histrionic reasons (using sexual means/sexuality as a means of attention), to want a nice little confidence boost (because really, who doesn't?), to just being more comfortable wearing low cut shirts.

Plethora of reasons, really.

This is an easy one to answer. Ego gratification through the medium of personal attainment and the attraction of the attention of others.

I show my cleavage because I can. It makes me feel sexy. Let's just say it gets attention.

Yes, but it's a welcomed distraction.
