A young Irish girl learned last month that her fetus has a condition in which a major part of the brain is missing. The fetus is projected to die within 3 days of being born. Abortion is illegal in Ireland, except when the mother is threatened by a medical condition or a suicide risk. The anti-choice movement either wants to outlaw abortion totally in the US, or only allow it in the case of rape or incest, or only allow it if the mother's life is in danger. Bit by bit medical procedures are being outlawed in the US courts as well as state legislatures. Many health clinics have been closed due to violence.

Will we become a nation again where only the wealthy can afford abortions, out of the country?

I love doing household activities and it's one of my dream to be a good wife and a loving mother. However, when I share this with all my friend, most them told me that I'm weak, have no dream, or victimized by male-dominated chauvinistic wold craps....

What's wrong here? Since when a succesful woman is measured by her career prospect or her money income? Isn't that kinda radical feminist propaganda that share only little room for all house-wifes?


PS: I'm a college student majoring in pharmacy. I'm also a Martial Artist and profesional Dancing Queen. I believe I am NOT type of weak-desperate-stupid-ill-minded woman that beg for male mercy here!

I've never been pregnant. I just want to point that out to begin with.

When I think or read about what it must be like for a pregnant woman, having something growing and moving around inside your stomach like that, I feel sick. I guess you could say it gives me "the willies." I just wonder if it's normal for a young adult woman to feel this way?

The way I see it, if the man has to submit to the woman by being the first to take the initiatve and speak to her (ask her out), get on his knees and proposing to the woman, has to be the assertive one, he has to pay for wedding ring, he pays most of the rent and for the car, he is usually the breadwinner, he pays for the dates and dinners and shopping sprees, is it only *fair* to at least let the man be the leader of the household? Do certain women find that notion to be demeaning?

It amazes me how *some* women can be selfish, by expecting the man to do all of these things, but find it "demeaning" for the man to be THE MAN of the relationship (i.e., lead the household). Some women don't even want to take the last name of a man after marriage these days, despite all of these sacrifices he makes towards her. Any other proposed "sacrifices" and submissions towards him she has to make doesn't exist -- as that's when she claims it should be "equal".

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not against average men going out with the guys sans ladies but when you get a bunch of very powerful men like it describes where they hold power over laws, stock options, wars, upcoming films, etc. THEN I think the rules should be a little more stringent. We would never allow racism at even a low level so why do women still tolerate men in power excluding us? It especially irritates me that they have such affection for a topless model and that posters of women’s bodies are allowed- but nothing about our thoughts.

Ok this just happened, i just went down the stairs, looking out the window wondering what am i gonna do then suddenly a women walked out the elevator, so we were walking by the same corridor then i stopped at a place where my friends were working, and i told them that the gal looks pretty,, you know what happened ? they blasted the women, saying she is like that and like this and how i got no taste, saying she dresses up crazy,, and i was like wow! i felt embarressed,, so i said another women who walked by was sexy, again i got blasted for my taste and how she is like this, and like that, that she is married,, so i try to reason saying i wasnt trying to sleep with her but just appreciate her beauty, then they go again saying this is what all the male says, and they say i should at least look at a better looking women, what the heck is this ? how can try2block ask such a sicko question like what race of woman is the best to rape and stay on line and a lady got thrown out of there last night for just saying something funny. t. She was just joking. he is asking particulars on which race of woman to choose for raping - after he has all three tied up. Why do feminists talk about wanting equality but then when asked a question about how men are treated unfairly they avoid the question and focus on how women are treated unfairly?
It sounds like feminists are actually descriminating against men rather then fighting for equality, which equality was supposedly why the feminist movement was started.
