There would be little hesitation in accepting that men have historically behaved more than a little worse than women. Why is it so impossible to accept that women are, on average, behaving a little worse than men these days? I never include the brutal men that are unreachable in my gender comparisons, I'm referring to the average relationship or marriage/divorce. Women could gain a lot more respect if they'd just admit to this. Women have and use way more power in their romantic relationships with men than vice versa, as they always have, but now also have power in legal and workplace situations. Most women haven't given up the more intangible powers they have over men, even though they've gained so much tangible power. Go on, deny this and demand facts and figures. I don't think there's much real denial going on, except with very young, idealistic women. The tendencies I describe (in most of my questions) are as well known as what weddings would be like if men were in charge of them.
