Why is it such a big deal? How do you pick who gets it and why?

It shouldn't be any more of a big deal than it is for men. That's an outdated double standard if you ask me!!!

I am not a good role model.
I lost my virginity at 15 for the sole reason that I wanted to see what sex was like. I was curious, so my boyfriend at the time and I did. I don't really think about him too much anymore. Generally, he doesn't cross my mind unless someone brings him up, or the subject of virginity.
I will never forget the first time the man I am with now and I had sex, because it was beautiful and special like sex is supposed to be.

I lost my virginity when I turned 13. I still can't forget the first time I was so intimate with another human being. It was so surprising and different than the next times.

Who? Oh yes I had forgotten that five seconds of my life. Needless to say he was a loser and I made a mistake but we all live and learn. I think one has to take the good with the bad and had it not been for this chap I certainly wouldn't appreciate what I have to day with my husband.

people build up a woman's first time to be something huge and meaningful and passionate and loving... when its not. sorry to disappoint.
