Do you think maybe that Christmas would go so much better if there was Not the running around shopping and picking up stuff before a deadline day?

Maybe a better way would be if we gave each other gifts when we wanted to during the whole year. That way it would be less stress and less of a financial drain and we could actually Think about what gift someone would really like..? :)

This is based on a previous question of similar topic. The answers given by women claimed that men GIVE these women the power.

If thats the case... why do women complain about abuse from men?.. don't they GIVE these men the power? When they get raped.... don't they GIVE the rapist the power?

What kind of logic is that? Men don't GIVE women any power. The focus should be on the fact that women miss use their power of beauty... not on why they are allowed to do it. If people would just do the right thing in the first place.. no one would have to STOP anyone from doing the wrong thing. Savvy?

If I rob a bank... are you going to attack the bank for letting me rob it? Lets get serious for a minute...

If I had a dog and 7 of his 8 great-grandparents were poodles and he looked pretty much like a poodle, then why would I call him a collie if only 1/8 of his ancestors were collies?

But if a person is 7/8 white in America he is still termed 'black'. the same in Australia a person that is 7/8 Euopean origin and 1/8 Aboriginal is still Aboriginal.

Why is it so?

Can you explain this mystery to me?

last night I had a dream about a bad virus that was threaten the world and everyone I cared about had it except for me. They all had long weird teeth in their mouth and couldn't talk and then when I woke up my throat was hurting. Then in my dream all of the people went to my gyn and he was a mad scientist that I found out was performing experiments on me and my husband was there but couldn't stop it what does this mean? I woke up in tears and confused and I keep seeing those weird teeth people and my throat is hurting. Does the teeth mean something they were wide and inside people mouths and the doctor could not help them so he sent them to another doctor {please no hurtful answers}

I would like to say thanks in advance for your help! Ok this may be silly but I want your help because I don't know what to do! Since I've been a little girl I've had a fear of getting shots at the doctors office. I can't even watch other people get shots without getting chills. I recently got married & in a year or 2 my husband wants us to have kids he said. I love the idea of having kids but I am afraid to get blood samples or flu shots. I can look at clowns, eat bugs, jump off a build but I CAN'T DO NEEDLES!!! Now they say there is therapy that helps with fears but is there one that helps with needles? I have been so worried about for years while we where dating and now that I know he wants kids I've been crying lately thinking I can't have kids until I get over this fear. I am 30 and I feel so silly about it. Everyone says it's like an ant bite but it's the end of the world to me for some reason! I hyperventilate when I see needles & cry like a big ol' baby! Please help me! Thanks!

for example: - ive had a hard life- nothings gone my way, i have borderline personality disorder...im 30 years old.

i live on my own in a one bedroom flat on sickness benifits.

my goals are to emigrate to europe or beyond....live in my own house...by the coast.....with a blonde or brunnette or redhead girlfriend.

but ive never had those things.....and when i ask how to achieve those things...i get told to aim for things completley different to what i want......why dont i go to india or asia ?........why dont i stay in the uk ? build a life here ?

answer:- because i dont want to....i want the things i want and thats all there is to it.
but no one gives me help or advise on how to attain these things.
they just tell me there story, and say why not stay where you are.....its like people are deliberatly disempowering me....trying to keep me where iam....where people can monitor me.....not allowing to go off & leave....because they no i would in a heartbeat

After several years of no communication with them, my aunt and uncle are spending christmas with me and my family. Because of this I am dreading the upcoming holiday. As a child, they always told me that I was nothing and I would always be nothing. Also, while everyone in my family praised me for being a good student, they never did. They stated that the only reason I was a good student was b/c I didn't have any friends and therefore had nothing better to do than devote my time to studying. I always hoped that when I saw them again, I'd be better--I'd have a successful career and a close group of friends. However, I am still that girl they last saw--someone who devotes her time to school and doesn't have any friends. When I'm around them, I can't help but feel like this huge failure and I have no clue how to act with confidence. My question is how can I fake being confident around them doing Christmas and not let their negativity affect me so much?

This is driving me crazy. I had a huge crush on her in high school. But every so often, basically out of NOWHERE, I have dreams about her! Dreams about us hanging out, or kissing or just trash talking each other (in a fun and flirty way) like we used to do in high school.

I don't get it!!!

Why after 10 years am I still having random dreams about wanting to be with her? I have a beautiful girlfriend and I basically want for nothing! She gives me everything I need.

I only read about half of that... but I also don't quite agree with the theme.

In today's world, men are programmed to think they physically and emotionally "need" this woman they've provided for (for sickness and in health... for better or for worse, blah blah blah). While there is a need, in most cases a secure attachment forms. A divorce will break that irrevocably.

As for how the law is in this country, women clearly have the advantage. This isn't up for debate. I've seen too many cases favor women on the basis that she is more vulnerable to abuse because of her gender.

A lot of it is horse crap, and there's not much you can do as a retort to comments like "you are insensitive" or "you hate women."

First Type of Dream:
You are on your way somewhere and about to get into the vehicle but somehow you can't. It's either too small to fit in (like those small cars in a circus) or a regular size but you just can't get in.
Other dreams may have people already in the car waiting for you to get in. But you can't
Others dreams you see it leaving you because you can't get in. And you've told it to go...

Other Car Dream: (this one's a doozy)
Your in the Car...
But in the back seat and you're passing friends you want to pick up so they don't have to walk.
The next thing you know you're telling the driver to stop...but there is no driver...
And you try to take control of the wheel...but you somehow are not able to jump to the front of the car to stop it (you are restricted from doing anything to control it)..and the next thing you know it's swerving out of control and runs over someone....but at that point you are watching that happen from outside the car...
So what da ya think?

and opened the cabinet and there were all new glasses and dishes organized completely differently then my ex walked into the kitchen and was talking to me but we had to keep our talking a secret and then I walked out and I started asking my dad a question and he started sword fighting me.

Last night I had two separate dreams that were along the same lines. The first one was something about being in a college dorm where I had to go door to door to get money. I was dressed up in this red velvet outfit with Christmassy trim, and everyone kept telling me how stupid I looked. But then some other girls did the same thing, dressed in the exact same outfit, and they got tons of money, and everyone thought they were great.
In the secoond dream, I was in a beauty contest or something (like that would ever happen!), and it was the evening gown competition. I was the first to walk across the stage, but the judges weren't there yet; they were running late. By the time the second girl walked across, they were there. So all the other girls got scores, but I got a zero because they didn't see my outfit.
I'm waaaay too old to be concerned over stupid stuff like clothes and popularity contests--what in the world are these dreams about?
