Social Science - 21 December 2007

I'm 15 and I guess the first reason I think of as to why I feel so low is teenage hormones but it feels so much more than that.

I have a sister with learning disabilities and it can be really hard at times. My Dad has also recently had cancer, and although he has been okay for a while now it affected me really badly. I have a lovely life with a caring mum and a loving dad but for about 3 months now I haven't felt like going out with my friends, I can't sleep very well, I feel like giving up on my grades at school as I'm not a very high achiever.
I've tried a few things to improve my mood suchas going to the gym as excercise is supposed to help lift moods and eating healthy although recently I have lost my appetite and these don't seem to be helping. The worst part of all this is that I feel like I can't talk to anyone because it doesn't seem like I have anything to be upset about. I can't talk to my mum because I feel constantly guilty for being so ungrateful. Please help!

The dream was weird, first, I was in the woods, and I came across this old house, so I went into it, then, all of a sudden, all these ghost appeared! At first, I was scared, but then I found someone that I reconized as my friend Toni Cable, who I havn't seen in about 4 or 5 years....but he said he was dead. At first I was shocked, then I felt sorry for him. He even told me how he died!

I havn't even though about him in forever, but I had this dream a few weeks ago, except he wasn't dead, he was just standing there holding a bible...

PLEASE HELP!!! I'M CONFUSED AND WORRIED!!!

ok so i never thought about this but on occasion i have deja vu. like sometimes i'll have it and i'll have this feeling that i had deja vu about this before in this same situation. and no, i have never been in the situation before. this is normal right? it's kind of hard to explain.

I mean to a certain extent everyone has thought of it without considering it...right? For instance, you are really upset at your spouse, or parents. You imagine shooting or hanging yourself and what the ruckus would be when they found you. Perhaps even leaving a note 'it's all your fault' type thing. This is normal right? Serious question people, don't make fun! I've had these thoughts since I can remember. I've always thought they were normal...everyone has them...right??? Please be honest.

When I first moved to Canada, my gr.8 teacher laughed and joked about my English in front of the freakin' whole class. So ever since, I mumbled and get really really nervous when I do public speaking like a presentation. I haf mumbled ALL of my presentation during 4 yrs of high school. There just doesn't seems to be a way to for me stay clam. This is my last yr of high school and I really have to do good on those presentations to get into an university. Any suggestion to help?

it was a green snake i believe......it bit me on my finger and there was no blood just teeth marks!!! then i had a really weird dream about my ex that broke my heart like twice!!!

Gay people dont bother me and im not against it, but i am wondering what is it that causes it?? Is it a fault in the brain as it seems to go against human nature, yes fair enough people have done it for thousands of years and animals do it, but is it right to say that all gay men for example have to have some "straightness" in them as biologically men need to make women pregnant to encourage life??

My brother is in a coma for four weeks (tonight) and my mother and I have slept in the hospital every night since. I started going back to work last week and I can tell you I have been holding up stronge for a good amount of time.
But this morning I took a nap at my house before I got ready for work and it was the first time I remembered one of my dreams during this whole time.
Please note: my brother is still in ICU and he has def brain injuries so they are saying it could be years before he awakes fully. And he currently has an phnemonia.
I dont have enough space for the whole dream but here is the jist:He is at a rehab facility and I left to go home to get ready for work. I get a phone call that maybe I should go back there and I got worried at first but they assured me it was ok. I get there and my brother is awake! Functioning and acting almost like nothing is wrong. When I ask him later in the dream why no one told me he was ok.. he gave me his sly half smile.
I woke up.

sold yrs ago.). My old neighbor, Gena (Mormon) had purchased the house & now lived there. I guess I was a maid, cleaning in the dream. And when Gena had come home (her home now) I was worried she would think I was stealing something (I wasn't but trying to figure out where something was to go so thought I might apear like snooping.) A super tall figure who looked like my Grandpa Einer (Died yrs ago.)was in the living area. This was when I tried to tell him that he looked like my Grandpa Einer. But he picked me up high & scared me, then put me back down. Then my Great Grandma Ilmari (Died) yrs ago.)stood there beside him & talked to me (forget what), but I ended up fainting (closing eyes, faint) in my dream.

That is what I remember of the dream. Then after this dream thought of the Mormon ritual of 'Baptism for the Dead', and how this doesn't fit as a puzzle piece with the Holy Bible. And wondered if Mormons had done this ritual for my Grandpa Einer or Great Grandma Ilmari.
