My brother is in a coma for four weeks (tonight) and my mother and I have slept in the hospital every night since. I started going back to work last week and I can tell you I have been holding up stronge for a good amount of time.
But this morning I took a nap at my house before I got ready for work and it was the first time I remembered one of my dreams during this whole time.
Please note: my brother is still in ICU and he has def brain injuries so they are saying it could be years before he awakes fully. And he currently has an phnemonia.
I dont have enough space for the whole dream but here is the jist:He is at a rehab facility and I left to go home to get ready for work. I get a phone call that maybe I should go back there and I got worried at first but they assured me it was ok. I get there and my brother is awake! Functioning and acting almost like nothing is wrong. When I ask him later in the dream why no one told me he was ok.. he gave me his sly half smile.
I woke up.

It means don't be stupid like christians they think random shit means something. Obviously you think about him a lot and what he to be out of the coma. So youre mind made up a picture slide show, that moves so fast that it seems like its real life. I'm sorry to say, this isn't a "sign" or anything, rather just a wanting of something so bad. I hope your brother gets well soon, happy holidays.

Well....you are going through a tough time this year, it's affecting the whole family, and apart from going back to work, thinking about your brother is taking up most of your time and energy. It's only natural for you to dream of your brother being well, it is your wish for him to be well, and functioning ok. Having faced a situation of this sort, when my sister had an aneurysm, and went into a coma before she passed on, I know this is a mind blowing thing that has happened to you, and it really turns your "reality" upside down, one minute your life is business as usual, and you're talking to your sibling, and the next minute something completely out of left field happens, and your sibling is in ICU....you wind up in some corner of your mind thinking that this couldn't possibly be real, someone is playing a joke on you. (I think the sly smile might be an indication of that sort of thing, and the people at the rehab acting like it's a kind of surprise) It is a kind of emotional shock, a buffer that is there to "protect" you some from the reality of what is going on. I hope that your brother will pull through ok, I will light a candle for him, and for you and your family........stay strong....

well the trauma you feel about him being in a coma and you and your family naturally wanting him to wake up , and the fact you've been by his bed side every night sinces has affected your dreaming state. I know you'd like someone to tell you it means he's going to wake up soon but don't let that give you false hope coma's are a tricky thing he might come out of it and then again he might not. You've had this and work on your mind for a long period of time to solely focus on one thing and going most likely going to sleep thinking about or having just thought about these things before going to sleep.Im sorry but it's very likely this dream has no meaning.

Well I think it means that he might get better soon and he'll be all right!! But since the sly smile he might be on stereroids to make him better like on the stereriods that are bad!! Or he might be on drugs!! Or maybe he just thinks you'll never figure it out!! Or maybe it was a dream that meant nothing!

The dream is about hope. There's still hope for him (your brother). Don't give up hope, because it's one of the most powerful things a person can hold onto.
