Are we actually talking about personality, or self esteem issues. Because that might be where the differences lie.

Personality doesn't lie in a persons weight. (always) . If depends on the persons nature, how they were raised, how they interacted with others growing up... and much more.

Both can be beautiful or ugly inside... you already said it all things being equal.

It's all in how you want to perceive the person to be. Some people have a negative feeling towards anyone overweight... and that will affect your thoughts of that person.

My dad had an interesting observation on this. He said that skinny women seemed all dried out. He also said, "A woman who likes food likes pleasure. She likes sex. She might like sex with me."

My experience is that some people are naturally skinny, others naturally overweight, but that a guy who's a little overweight tends to be more easygoing and will do more to keep a woman. I don't know if that extends to women, though.

Well, there in lies the conundrum. One is fat, one is skinny. Not everything is equal.

People say lots of things about weight, but the truth is that how we eat is what determines our weight. People who eat more calories than their body burns off will gain weight. People who eat about the same will maintain. Then of course, those who eat less than they burn will loose weight.

The question I would ask is why the fat girl eats as much as she does? Chances are, she doesn't plan out her meals in a manner conducive to a smaller size.

I base this on personal experience, since I was 30lbs heavier than I am now, but after tailoring my calorie intake, I've lost a bit of weight. I just plan meals better and it works out.

I dont think everything could be equal. Her weight wouldnt be the primary determinant of her personality - you would have to take into consideration her genetic makeup, her upbringing, and the effects of social development.

Im skinny and i have had bad experiences with both. Im a nice person. i have met nice small women and mean big women. it depends on the person. I generally find big women to be the most mean. well.....i think everyone is bigger than me. i have big women in my family, im the skinniest. they kinda singled me out b/c im the smallest.
when your small they think you have a eating disorder
when you're big they think u eat too much and its not like that always.
i'd have to say big women can have the worst personality. in my opinion.

From what i've observed, big women tend to be more emotionally expressive.
So, it seems they're usually either really over the top happy and jolly, or they're rude and obnoxious.
