I'm crazy about a guy I've become friendly with but never see him as he lives in another state. We chat now but not often. I just can't get him out of my mind..we never went out but got together once. Sometimes he contacts me but recently not much as he has a huge school load. I am trying everything..dating other guys..new hobbies, I even changed job for a change of scene...NOTHING WORKS! Don't tell me time will heal all..this is my soul mate and I'm so disappointed. Any constructive advice would really help.. Thanks.

War is an economical process in which high technology products are produced without the need of a market for them as they are produced to be destroyed. The best aspect of the process is that such production is financed by funds of the People, that considers themselves benefited by the process, and therefore accepts it without reservations.

Besides, the process develops technologies might can be later sold with good profits to the same society that financed their development.

Therefore, battle activities are a promoter of the development of Humanity and their Global Technical Enterprises.

Are their benefits larger than their destructive aspects? Or is Humanity in a process of diminishing welfare?

the country up to men.

This specific question was asked as part of the 1996 and 1998 General Social Surveys. There were 22,477 respondents. Would you care to guess at the correlation between years of education and agreeing with this statement?

I'll give you a bit and post the answer later.

BTW, I recommend the GSS to anyone with any interest in the social sciences. You can look at all kinds of "interesting" questions. How about the relationship between political party affiliation, income, sex and belief in alien abduction, for example?

Have women been forced into the workplace in order to support our consumption habits?

It is common thought these days that 2 incomes are required to make a go of things today. If we cut down on consumption, would this still be true?

I have nothing against women who want a career, and I have nothing against women who want to be SAHM. These are choices to be made with consequences on each side.

Interesting...I remember one of my high school classmates. Very intelligent girl who got her undergrad degree at Holy Cross and a grad degree at Columbia. Today, she is a SAHM with two children.

By shadow, I mean a person that you have known for certain time, but he/she wasn't real, they were only "shadows", I mean lies, deception.

A female-led relationship is a relationship or marriage where
both partners make a conscious decision for the woman to be
head of household and the man her helpmate
Matriarchal style of living is out of step with mainstream
society and leaves those of us who are happy in the lifestyle
feeling isolated. Living in a female-led relationship is a viable alternative to traditional marriage for certain women and men. Not all personality types are suited to this kind of relationship, but those who are have a unique set of desires, strengths and personality traits that are better expressed in a non-traditional kind of relationship.

It seems there are some people who compulsively loathe people who do not have short hair. They always remind people when they should get a haircut. I know two very different people who have the same behavior when it comes to long hair. Of course, I'm referring to long hair for men.

Is this something that was taught to them by parents or is it just another common pet peeve?

Does anyone know people like this?

Thanks.
