I despise bullies. Something must be wrong in their head if being mean to other people brings them joy. If they have bad lives that is something they need to deal with w/o taking it out on innocent people. They make other peoples lives harder sometimes w/o even knowing them. The target could be going through hard times and the last thing they need is a bully making it worse. Its sad that I have to worry about my nice kids when they go to school because of bullies.Life is hard enough alone w/o bullies.

I despise both.
The bully, for the obvious reason that he/she is a bully, and for the -not so- obvious reason that in being a bully they tend to be more pathetic than the target. I'm sure there are a lot of reasons for bullying, but the common ones I have noticed are a desperate need for attention, a desperate need to gain SOME kind of control on life, and a desperate need of superiority, often stemming from deep seated inferiority complexes. The bully is a smorgasbord of mental issues and psychosis that make them more annoying than the 600 pound man that wolfs down ten double cheese burgers and a bucket of fries with a friggin' diet coke.
The target, in most (not all), situations is just as dispicable though, because it takes little brain power to analyze and eliminate the bully, and yet so many targets don't do so, giving the bully the fuel that he/she needs, and wants to continue their behavior.
How do you handle a bully? Three easy steps.
1) Ignore. Most bullies do it for the response, No response = the bully moves on to another target.
2)Report. If the bully does not move on, there is absolutely NO shame in reporting that bully to whatever pertinent authorities may be available, be it a teacher, a preacher, or even the police. It is their job to handle these kinds of things. And if anyone tells you otherwise after you do, you can always come back with something like..."He wasn't worth the effort so I let the principle do my light work." or something like that. ;-)
3) Destroy. In the very rare case that the authorities can't or won't do something about it one HAS TO take care of the matter, and remember, it doesn't matter how scrawny you may be, or how weak you may be, or how big of a chicken you may be, it doesn't even (for the most part) matter what religion you are, the Old Testament is FULL of examples of people standing up for themselves. There are people who will stand up with you. The target just needs to DO SOMETHING, and a lot of them don't and I despise that.

Why would anyone despise the targets of a bully? They're the objects of unfair actions by a weak and cowardly person. Why should they be further violated?
And my evaluation of them would be based on how they reacted to the bully. If they reacted with strength, wisdom and honor, I might admire them. But more likely, I would sympathize with them and would do what I could to protect or support them.
And why would anyone admire a bully? Except others who are just as weak and cowardly and suffer from such low self-esteem they cannot function in the presence of normal people.

I admire targets of bullies when they put an end to it, or stand up for themselves. I don't like bullies and regret ever being one. Believe it or not some people don't realize their being bullies until they step back and look at what they're doing. Not all bullies just do it for fun, some are just angry and don't know how else to act.

I neither admire nor despise the target of a bully as they often times did not earn their treatment. I either pity them for their misfortune or reconcile that they are getting what they deserve, depending on the situation. As for bullies I admire those who have the strength to point out the foibles of others when they deserve it but despise the man that criticizes another just to raise his own sense of self or detract from his own failings.

Despise bullies, a little bit of both on the targets. They should stick up for themselves, if they did they wouldn't be bullied so much. As long as you defend yourself, there ain't nothing wrong with punching someone.

Bullies are a waste of living organic matter who should be routinely beaten within a inch of their miserable life.
Offen though, the bully is in more anguish than the poor soul whom they are bullying, & they compensate with picking on others who (in their eyes) don`t conform to their idea on the way they should live their life.

I despise bullies because they're cowards and they target people they feel are inferior to them.
