You are feeling hate and you pick up a guitar:

Is your motivation the hate? The hate alone makes you pick up the guitar?

or is wanting to express yourself, or the good feelings you will receive from playing guitar the motivation to pick up the guitar?

Please explain your reasoning.

(This is not my homework. I'm 22 and this is just a disagreement I had with my boyfriend. He said that hate can't be a motivation for christians. I just don't get it and he said most people would think like me. I would really like to know the opinion of others.)

I've been thinking about my old friends lately. Their married now, and....we we're such great friends before...I know times have changed even really bad things happened between us.......but I just want to let them know how much they meant to me.....and how sorry I was for what they perceived as toxic. I never meant to put them down in any way shape or form but I think they took it that way, (my need for approval mistaken for bragging and then causing them to feel inferior)....So, should I, for the very very last time just tell them how I feel and then forget it......or just forget it all together?

a couple weeks ago i had a dream about the moon and how it would move around and at one point it was so close i could use a slingshot and hit it. and at one point it was under my house and my house was hovering above it.

and last night i had a dream that i was in a skyscraper and if i looked out the window i could see all the planets lined up (besides earth) and they were only like a couple feet away from me.

what does this mean?

Do you think if we freeze people after they die, they can be brought back to life in the future when there is more technology and stuff. Wouldn't it be creepy? Like lets say 200 years later, scientists brought you back to life, and everything is SO different. Of course, you will remember that you were frozen for this purpose after you died.

Or suppose, after you died, they took out only you're brain and somehow preserved it. Then in the future, they put your brain in a cloned body and you have another life.

Do you think all this will be possible in the future? How do you feel about it?

She says she's asexual, saying she can't feel love or feelings of attraction. I'm wondering if this is a true thing or psychosomatic(in her head). well I love my dog but...it seems like animal rights atavists don't even want people to have pets. I had a lady yell at me today because I walked into the pet supply store BEFORE my dog! She said I was mean and that I probably beat him too. Um, what!? I can't even enjoy my dog anymore and I've only had him for a few days!

So I heard that eating or drinking dairy products before bed allows you to have unique/vivid/strange dreams due to the fact that they're harder to digest...Well, last night I tried out the concept and had 3 glasses of milk, and some cheese before I went to sleep. That night I had a bunch of amazing dreams. I normally never remember them, but this time I did. Anyways, long story short...is there any other foods that will make me either dream, or have strange dreams? Or just anything in general I can eat that will alter my dream? Oh, and make sure you have a reason why it'll work. I'm not eating a jar full of pickles if I'm not conviced it'll work!

My boss and I both had a similar dream on the same night. Both of our dreams had white snakes with yellow/orange colored markings. In her dream there were work related people and the snake slithered in and she told them to be still. In my dream there was also someone work related in it (someone's son whom I don't really know) and a girl who I didn't recognize who was holding the snake and I kept telling her to move the snake away from me but she didn't listen and it kept coming closer. I had my eyes closed and face turned away but I could feel it coming close to my face - I could barely feel it touching me - tickling my skin with it's breath. I woke up saying get it away from me - I was not cowering but sternly saying GET IT AWAY.

I think it's weird we both had the SAME color SNAKE in our dreams!

My aunt--shes been described as selfish. She's a musician one day, she walked out on a concert performance because she didn't like duets. All my life, her family has been jealous of us because we "bought the house out from under them" (we didn't, back them my mom said, she offered it to them! The funny thing is, we were never trying to make her feel inferior in any way. years later, there's a huge tragedy in our family. She made me feel so bad and poured salt in that wound at the time of my deepest pain. Then, she calls back once in a while to say that, her daughter is getting married, or so in so is making a lot of money trying to tick us off. Its like she can finally One-up us (however we never thought of things that way!!!) excuse us for mourning. How do I handle her?

Maybe I just don't get it, me and my girlfriend we're sitting in her apartment, we were watching the movie Hotfuz, don't get me wrong, good movie, for anybody who seen the movie, there are a lot of scenes in the movie where people die horrible deaths, to me thats shock factor, my girlfriend however, at one point of the movie just started laughing when someone died.
Like I said, maybe I just don't, so I asked her; why do you find that funny? She couldn't give me a strait anwser, I than asked her, would you find that funny if you saw that for real? She then told me to lighten up. I don't know.

There was a time when my dad first died about 3 years ago, I became very superstitious. I believed that if I had some kind of weird dream, it was some kind of bad omen. Now, when I have a bad dream, I just tell myself that dreams are just re-occurring thoughts and things you see being jumbled all together.

Now my question is, do you think that dreams hold meanings?

I have to form a hypothesis for a social issue; I chose Euthanasia.

I'm finding it really hard to formulate the hypothesis, added to that I have to create three supporting questions.

I was thinking something like

'Religion impacts the governments belief on Euthanasia'

For women to go around discussing their preferences (size, circumcised or not) in men's genitalia in a forum in which the objectification of women is rightly condemned?

Is it "liberated", "empowered", "women being able to express their views without shame"? Or is it blatant hypocrisy, objectification, and a reflection of our society's debased moral climate all around?

Out of nowhere my heart beat starts racing I feel as though my senses are dulled, like I can't feel, I can't taste, my mouth gets dry. I feel as though I am in a dream like state, I feel detached from my physical body. THis happens when I am in a big place like a mall, and everyone's voice seems amplified. Sometimes it happens in smaller places at home.

Anyone know what this could be. I have an idea
