can anybody give me some examples of conflict and consensus?

Conflict is when there is 1 TV and the 3 kids each want to watch something different.
Consensus is when all 3 kids want to watch the same show.

Conflict - when three members of the committee are convinced that the firm should hire two more secretaries, and the other four members are quite sure that it is unnecessary.

Concensus when (possibly after some discussion) all seven members of the committee agree that one more secretary is all that is needed.
