Doesn't expecting the unexpected make
the unexpected expected?

But what are the possibilities that are possible when you are expecting the unexpected? You can't expect all the expected unexpected possibilities even if that were possible.

It is a paradox. One cannot expect the unexpected, if one did, it was looses the title of unexpected.
The unexpected is the stuff you forgot to expect while you were too busy expecting things that were never going to happen.

Yeah, and if the unexpected is expected, then the expected would be the unexpected, so you would have to expect the expected.

No, because you can't possible be prepared for what you do not know. I don't think it is possible to expect something with infinite possibilities.
