Body image represents a maximum of 5% of your total confidence level until your eighth birthday. From the eighth birthday on, it increases a little everyday, until it peaks at the age of 13. At 13 years old your body image represents 99% of what it takes to be confident and remains that way until the age of 19. At 19 that percentage drops a little everyday until it levels off at roughly 15% at age 30. It remains at 15% until death.

Note; Marriage will instantly bring the ratio to 15% regardless of age.

if you have a bad body image and are uncomfortable in your own skin you will have low self esteem.

There is a GREAT book of women photos with their own personal stories. Very moving. Perhaps this will help you. It is called Bodies and Souls. Frank Cordelle is the one that put it all together. It is from his art exhibit called The Century Project.
