I'm a visual learner. I remember things by visualizing them and making pictures or stories about them. If you give me a ton of numbers to remember, I usually have to make up a scenario about a 24 year-old who ate 150 hot dogs 362 days of the year, etc. I know, weird huh? I also dream in color.

A combination. Sometimes I also think in different languages (I speak 4) depending on what it's about if I can't find the right words.

I tend to see the words and recite them in my mind, but for more abstract ideas I just think with emotions and patterns.

My mind sees pictures. From those images I create words and patterns. In fact when I read your question i immediately saw the picture of the human brain.

Pictures and Words

I think in words and pictures. But most of the way a person thinks depends on what side of their brain the predominantly use. True story, people are either completely left brained or right brained, or in the middle. These determine how a person thinks. There is a test you can take to determine this, it will ask you alot of question some absurd but it really does work.

Words as in my voice not actual words, pictures, and kind of like a movie. I'll see "videos" in my head.

EDIT*

Actually, I don't really see pictures. Only the movies, and just thoughts. A lot of the time I'm day dreaming, so I don't know how I think all the time.

When i walk down the sidewalk i catch a rhythm with my feet and have to have the same number or steps in each concrete square. I'm not OCD about it or anything, its just a little thing that makes me...uhm....weird i guess lol. Also, when I'm riding in the car, i try to tap my left foot and my right foot with the little dashes in the middle of the road as they disappear into the hood of the car (don't worry, I'm not a wreck less driver, i do this while other ppl are driving, i don't have my license yet.).
Yea so the little things make my mind different from other people's but i guess I'm just cool like that :P

I'm pretty sure mainly visual. Men are very visual anyway. Why do you think Playboy Magazine sells way way way more than Play Girl? That's my point. Men are visual all the way. A happily married man will be walking down the street with his beautiful wife and see another woman in passing. He'll try his best to crank his head around to scope it out without his wife noticing. Most women won't do that. They may see a good looking guy at one glance but they don't go out of their way to get a second or third look.

I think in words and in pictures. I have never done it in patterns.

Normally in some kind of internal dialogue. A voice in my head that is me thinking.

I'm interested to know if other people do the same.

I can obviously envision things, making images in my head too.. so it kinda goes between the two.
