why do people encourage high self esteem and than when that person does have high self esteem and think their pretty, people say"oh she is conceited, she is a narcissit, she thinks shes the **** but she isn't." But doesn't society want us to think we look good, and when we do people critize? it is confusing. same thing with jealousy, when we say so and so has a problem with me, ppl would say "dont worry, their jealous, and so is this person etc." and than we do say they are jealous, they say "oh please theirs nothing to be jealous(not to our face)"

I did, and I believe I really "saw" them, too bad the adults didn't believe me when I told them I saw things, after while I realized that they couldn't see....every time I talked to a corner my mom got freaked.

But with me grew up, they started vanished, eventually I couldn't see them just like adults do, it was around 7 or 8 years old.

Why do children have imaginary friends?

I find that many people that are mixed racially, usually only refer to themselves as being just one of those races when they should explain that they are mixed. I find this most prevalent amongs White/Black people, though it is not limited to that combination. I myself am White/Asian mixed, but I never say iam one or the other I always say iam mixed. I just find that some people that mixed shut out their other side. Why is this? Again I said most not all. :)

I have practically no sympathy for anything that she has said excluding that women should not be subject to domestic violence.

Who here has any sympathy with her views?

Do you consider her a Pariah within the feminist movement?

I know people can change when they admit something needs changing in their lives, but how many people acknowledge that? there's a group of people that i grew up around that i don't believe have changed for the better, but because my dad continues to see them and is happy around them he thinks they are good people who make (continuous) mistakes. these people that i'm talking about are self righteous and judgemental and not something that i wish to be around.

Why weren't feminists outraged that someone so clearly sexist against men identified herself as a feminist?

Wouldn't feminists be offended that their movement was getting marred by sexism?

...One of the very things they were supposedly fighting AGAINST?

...& yet Dworkin is hailed as a feminist pioneer & called "inspiring" by feminists.

She was not cast out of the movement nor denounced publicly by the "moderates."

Interesting, no?

Since I was about five, I've been having terrifying dreams about plane crashes !! They always seem so real until I don't know something in my mind signals right before the crash that this is a dream.. but they are so terrifying and i can't figure out what they mean. I don't have them often but every 3-4 months I have them and wonder if they mean something profound or am i just weird?

People keep bringing up the "definition" of feminism like that supposedly excuses people like the man-hating Andrea Dworkin & the FACT that she was very welcomed into mainstream feminism. (that FACT alone disproves the definition.)

Many other people that call themselves feminists have said some very nasty things about men.

People that call themselves feminists perpetuate false DV stats & lobby to redefine "abuse" and "rape" in our legislature so more activities fall into that classification.

The nature of "the patriarchy" (one of feminism's staple ideas) is a sexist view of supposed male control whereby ALL MEN are guilty & can be discriminated against... and legislated against.

Feminists are responsible for these things. "Oh, but not all feminists are like that."

How are we supposed to know? I won't forget all of the activities of mainstream feminism (you know... the ones that the supposed moderates do not even challenge) ...& pretend "feminists" are fighting for "equality"
