I'm sleeping, and I'm awaken by something under the covers with me. I pulled back the covers and there is this huge snake all coiled up right next to my right leg. Then I look up from the covers and I see a thing that looks like part scopion and part spider and it dandles from the covers that I pulled up and it is looking me right in the eyes but it doesn't look threatning. than I wake up

Why can't we find common ground? Is it because that is boring? Why do we post loaded questions? Why do we answer loaded questions? Why doesn't sharing ideas bring joy? Are we addressing the crowds with our questions? So many questions! Why can't we just get along?

Last night I had a very vivid dream that my roommate brought home a tiger and a couple of younger big cats, like a jaguar and a cheetah and some others, and left them out while she went to work.I was pissed that she left them there when they are so dangerous. My mom, brother, and sister came to visit me and I was scared they would get hurt by all these big cats, so I started locking them up in rooms and such. Most of them stayed contained except for the tiger. At first he started chasing me and trying to eat me, then suddenly he became my friend. I would lock him up in rooms or on my balcony and he would always open the doors and follow me around and was no longer aggressive. Weird, huh? What could it mean?

with the sick need to abuse women, debase them or lessen the heroic effort they put forth.
I salute all women in the armed forces, those I served with and those before and since. I respect the women who choose to fight, as well as the support roles that are filled.
However, there are few women as physically strong as me.
How can any person compare this heroic effort to the desire not to be hit by a coward of a man, while standing in the bedroom or more likely from behind, just to make some wimp's point that is totally devoid of any form of logic or pride?

I had a dream last night; I was sitting a chair and a small snake slithered on the floor under my chair. I presumed it was a young snake. It was gold with collars, I think red, like a coral snake. I was afraid at first and wanted to strike in defense, but realizing it was a young snake, I let go by. Then a kitten came by. It was gold with stripes like a tabby cat. At fisrt te kitten was only playing with the snake. Then it started to get too rough. I thought the snake will bite the kitten if I don't intervine right now. I reached down, but before I could reach them, the little snake struck the kitten. The kitten began biting the snake. I reached in to pull them apart and got clawed by the cat and reoeatedly bitten by the snake. Only the fangs or claws never penetrated my skin. Wierd, vivid, and has bothered me alot. I have a lot of stress going on right now. I'm moving, annual performance evaluation, dental appointment, long distance family issues, too much to list. Input anyone?

Americans can't seem to understand that they are surviving on credit as in America is like a poor man with a credit card. At least Americans can call on looking at central America as a comparison to boost the moral. Just don't look at Europe and Asia because that's where the US money went. And no problem as Americans also have their lying government to give them reasons a weak dollar is good.

Honest question here. I've never understood why some people consider this refuting an argument. For instance, I could say "You shouldn't smoke; you could get cancer." Would it be an intellectual retort to reply with "Not EVERYONE who smokes gets cancer!"? Of course not. The main thrust of the argument remains.

I mean, I've heard others talk about how males make up the majority of criminals; I don't counter with "Not ALL men are criminals!" If I wanted to refute the argument, I'd go for the source.

So why is this so common? Is it because they have no better argument? Are they ignorant of how ineffective it is? What gives?

When women complain about things that aren't fair they are "fighting for equality" or "taking issue with unfairness" or "fighting discrimination." or any other phrase that seems noble & just. ...You can almost hear an anthem in the background as you envision an American flag waving.

When men complain, out comes the shaming language.

"Why are you whining?" "Why don't you just cry about it you crybaby" "Oh, let's get the Waaaaaa-mbulance." People's brains go into a 6 year old mentality & out come the schoolyard insults.

Men that fight a slanted system are met with immaturity & hostility. People have been trained like little circus monkeys that "men have it great & women are downtrodden."

People's heads are stuck in the 1960s.

It's hysterical.

I buy and sell on Ebay with folks in England and Canada. About 18 months ago, the exchange rate between British pounds and US Dollars was about $1.50=1 British Pound. Now it is $2.04=1 British Pound. It now takes about one third more dollars to buy a British pound than it did 18 months ago. The Canadian $1 is now about on par with the US $1. 18 months ago, it took about $1.20 Canadian dollars to buy one US $1.

It also takes about one third more US dollars to buy a barrel of oil than it did 18 months ago. Is the cost of a barrel of oil going up, or is the value of the US dollar going down?

Is the price of a barrel of oil going up in Britain and Canada as fast as it is in the US? Not if their currency is worth more than it used to be on the world market compared to the US dollar.

If the purchasing power of the US $1 has diminished 20% or more in the last 18 months, isn't that runaway inflation?

Hello,
I have been having some weird dreams and feelings going on for the past couple of years. I have no idea if I am nuts or what please help me!!!!
Where to begin? Well this guy and me dated on and off throughout grade school up until we were about 19.We were more than just boyfriend and girlfriend he was my bestfriend. When we were about sixteen his older brother was killed in a car accident, and from that day on his whole personality changed. About a week after his brother’s funeral he told me he was just going to kill himself. I told him to quit being stupid, but I really was worried that he even would think of saying that to me. From then on our relationship just went down hill. One week we were together the next week we were not. Finally we both moved on and began dating other people. We both had some hard feelings towards each other, so we just quit speaking. He got badly involved into drugs, and ended up having a baby with his this woman. I ran into him one day and he invited me to come over his house to catch up on old times. I agreed to when we hung out, and it was a little awkward, but after a while it was like old times again. We talked about everything my boyfriend his son. He seemed to be acting weird to me. It began to get late, so I decided to go home before my boyfriend began worrying about me. When I got up to leave he kept begging me to stay, he said he would cook me breakfast. I told him I had to go; before I left he said, “I am sorry”. I asked him for what he said everything. I told him there are no hard feelings and we can still be friends. One night I kept getting hang up phone calls. The next day I found out he had hung himself. The weird thing was I was shocked ,but at the same time I was not.

I did not attend his funeral. I don’t know why I just did not want to remember him being in a casket. I wanted to just remember him being alive. Since then over two years ago I have dreams about him at least three days a week. They are so real it scares me. They are just dreams of me and him being together. They are different though every time.Once I one of them was me and him living together with his baby. It is like we have a relationship in my sleep. I have a boyfriend, which I have dated for the last five years, so it is not like I am lonely.

Now I am not a believer in ghosts or anything. I guess I am one of them I have to see it to believe it. As crazy as this sounds sometimes I feel a strong sense that something is watching me. I get this real weary feeling. It seems to happen more when I am in my car though. It is like someone else is in it with me.I have never seen anything though.

I do not know if I am imagining things or what. It has just been going on for to long.He has been dead for two years. Why am I still having these dreams?

Boys used to do better at math & science in schools.

"Woa... let's help the girls!!!!!"

Women aren't able to pass firefighting tests.

"Woa... let's help the women!!!!!"

Women aren't entering the sciences in the same numbers as men.

"Woa... let's help the women again!!!!!"

Men are now outnumbered on our college campuses.

Yay! Hooray for women!!!!!

When women come out on top, everything is perfectly OK with people & women get a pat on the back. When men come out on top, there is a cry of "discrimination" & new laws are passed to "fix" it.

I've read articles on the college numbers of men & women & every time it is explained away. Men are often blamed for this. Women are often congratulated for this.

I can't help wonder what would happen if there were fewer women on college campuses. I wonder how long it would be before a new law & dozens of programs helping women hit the scene.

Just a little perspective.

In the dream, I'm in a play at my school. Right before we go on, I'm desperately searching for a script because I don't know my lines. I look in boxes, ask people if they have an extra script, look in my backpack...and I can't find one.

The first time, I dreamt that I didn't go onstage, and everyone else did and they didn't know their lines either. The second time I had this dream, I asked these three girls to whisper the lines to me while I was performing them. And a couple seconds into the performance, I woke up.

What is this telling me?
