You just pointed out one of the glaring hypocrisies there! Men don't want to be abused by women, yet have no problem with sending men into combat to be SHOT AT by women!

You don't really have a point. People, in general, should not hit one another in a domestic situation. Males in this situation are more likely to seriously harm a female than the other way around, so that is why domestic violence against women probably gets more attention than vice versa. Human beings should not hit each other PERIOD.

However, in war, things are clearly different. If you are a soldier and someone is shooting at you, it doesn't matter if they're a woman, a child, or a little old person in a wheelchair, you shoot back. They're the enemy. That's how war is.

Besides, although men are physically stronger than women, it doesn't take an excessive amount of strength to shoot a gun. If the two warring sides are simply firing on one another, then one gender has no advantage over the other.

Think you are talking about 2 different things here...

A female in the military knows what she's getting into - and I presonally wouldn't want to get into a fist fight with her! :) They know their job and they aren't whining about someone hitting them if it comes down to it!

Now, hitting other chicks just b/c they are chicks and we're supposed to all be bad ass or something is wrong. Some females are cats (subsituted for the p- word I wanted to type), and some are freaking tigers.

My point of view has always been this:
If she's man enough to swing or fight, she's man enough to face the consequences. Hitting a female military person is no worse than hitting a man in the military...

No I don't think it's OK to hit a woman and it's not OK to hit men either. For example, I am a black belt karate expert and my boyfriend isn't. Would you still think it's OK for me to beat my man up even I am the woman and very likely to win the fight?
As for front line, it's someone decision's to fight for their own country so it really shouldn't be a man or woman's job.
Like in any working environment, if it's a job a man can do it, a woman can too.

Give them as they wish; if its equality they want it's equality they'll have; never minding what the enemy will do to them; some enemies could careless if they are women; meaning they will use anything and everything at their disposal. Yes, if it serves their purpose they will be as brutal as possible - their purposes - to obtain answers of course.**Yes, they will hit them, they will torture them, rape them and if need be they will not hesitate to kill them; their having kids, family is of no importance to them. See, the enemy is not playing games and they will give them the equality that they so desire. All women who want to go to the front lines, had better be prepared and know that this is what they truly want; the enemy is after blood, and they will not ask for it politely. They will take it believing it belongs to them.

No, and No. I don't think women should be in the front lines, OR be hit by men. We're physically weaker, and I would worry that male soldier's lives might be put in danger.

Hitting a woman is simply chicken s**t. If it is your need, you are chicken s**t. I've known a few abusers, they fold when anyone able to stand up to them, does it, BIGGEST COWARDS ON EARTH. They are the kind of man who can't stand up to other men. So if u want sympathy for your need to abuse weaker people, buy some leather and a whip and lots of vaseline.

Women are the same as men, except that women are more nurturing & men are more violent.

Women are as capable as men, so here are some laws we "need" that favor women exclusively to make things easier for them.

Women are as strong as men, except that swear words & dirty jokes at work make women crumble like coffee cake.

Women are as tough as men, until the fists are raised... then women are helpless victims & men are angry abusers.

It's a good point that you raised, too because the military involves fighting. (Urban combat in Iraq is "beat down the door & throw people to the floor type of situations sometimes.) ....& if women need to be protected from men in the eyes of feminists, who will be protecting them in the field?

Equality is good because men can nag women as much as they nag men. Doesn't look like they like it too much, but they were really never interested in equality in the first place.
