I had my first dream 2 days ago. It was in colour, but all i could remember was a snake standing.. it was red and yellow. Last night i had another one, it was a little snake, it was about to bite my puppy, so i grabbed the snake and it bit my finger so i threw it on the ground. And my brother was sleeping... and just as the snake was about to bite him, i went to reach for it... and then my phone went off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so yeh thats all that happend. What does this mean???

I always have thoughts that there is something wrong with me in my head. I'm in class my hands are dripping with sweat i cant concentrate, i feel like im going to lose control. Other times i obsess about women constantly, i get angry when they reject me ,some i fantasize about killing. then a majority of the time i always tell myself if it doesn't get better i will kill myself. I deal with these thoughts every day in one form or another i always feel hopeless and tormented by them. By the way i would never act on these thoughts, although i do daydream about them. I obsee about my future and where i want to be vs where i am. i feel like my life is passing me by and there is no one to talk to.

I was offered a very weird question once.
"In a situation where a terrorist who believes what he is doing is correct is about to shoot an innocent person, who would you prefer to be, the victim, or the terrorist?"
I am still unsure as to how to answer that question =/ If I believed it was correct? >.< I'd love to hear answers.

I believe that I am a winner but I do have a losers streak in some cases I think. I think I am part loser, part winner.

I am looking for some general definitions so that I can assess whether I am a loser or a winner.

Did the anger stay with you for a while because it seemed so real? Did you tell the other person?

SERIOUS COMMENTS ONLY
i have had a few dreams in the past few weeks of ghosts visiting me. i do believe in them but have never actually seen one. in the most recent dream i was sitting in a dark room and a child ghost appeared wearing a bath robe. he came and sat on my lap and started to tell me what happaned to him and then another little boy appeared dressed in raggy clothes. the boy in the bathrobe told me he WAS his brother but something terrible happened and then the little boy in the raggy clothes left and i awoke.
in another dream, an old lady came and asked about my grandmother (who is 89) and said that it will all be ok, she told me that there is a man waiting for both of us.
i dont know what this means????
is it possible for ghosts to come to people in their dreams?
any stories would help!

One day a dog who was happy cause he'd been given a big meaty bone by the butcher, was crossing a bridge on his way home.

As the dog walked up the bridge he looked down and saw another dog who also had a big meaty bone looking straight back at him. The dog immediately thought how good it would be to have 2 bones to take back home.

So he snarled at the dog below and growled and then barked at him. With that the bone fell out of his mouth and splashed into the water below. The silly dog had not realised he was looking at him own reflection in the lake of water beneath the bridge.

Moral = ?

When I look back, I feel regret after regret. Regret about going to the wrong school, regret about being friends with the wrong people. I feel that I have not maximised and made the most out of the opportunity available. I feel that I have missed out on good things in life as well as in the world.

How does one deal with such a feeling???

If anyone can explain this, or have some knowledge about any of it, please inform! I am quite curious.

Since my mother died in 1997, I havn't had any nightmares. I just dont get them anymore. Is this normal? Why?

Once I was almost asleep, but I heard an evil laugh (It sounded like I would describe an evil laugh, slow and deep). I could feel I wasn't awake when the laugh started, but it stretched out for about 6 seconds or so, and at least four of them I was wide awake staring at the roof (which was bright with glow in the dark stars [dont laught, im renting the room adn it belongs to a small boy] indicating it wasn't a long time ago that I turned the lights off). This laugh kinda freaked me out at the time, and the sound echoed through my head for quite some time. This must have been a dream of some kind, but can anyone explain it otherwise?

Okay, let me preface this with, I don't do drugs, I wasn't drinking and I have no mental conditions. This is a series of three dreams, that all took place while I was living with my parents for about a year.
Dream#1:
It was christmas time and I was having a dream within the dream about a boy I babysat and his friends running through a forest with redwood trees and the aliens were trying to decapitate them. I woke up in the dream and went to work. I worked with the boys mom and he was trying to explain about aliens and no one believed him, but I had a deja vous moment and knew exactly what he was talking about and told him to stay away from the forest during christmas. When the aliens came I didn't see them but there was an earthquake. I knew they weren't coming for me. The dream scared me so badly I woke up and actually had to wake my fiance up 'cause I was so freaked.

Dream #2
I don't remember the details as well. I was at the beach and this time the aliens came they looked

Many Self defense courses and teachers recommend calling out "fire" when attacked. As this is a potentially life or death situation, it is important to know what the evidence is, if any. What studies / experts or experiments support calling out "fire". Are they proven to be the best words to utter? And how do we know? Would "police!" be a better choice of words?

This is a quote from Mao Tse-tung (new transliteration is Ze-dong), the father of the Chinese revolution. It is the usual cynical stuff that "proceeds" (or is excreted) from Marxism. Birds of a feather stick together. Weak people always yearn for power. But there's always somebody MORE powerful, isnt it obvious? And he's gonna do the damage, dont you see? That's why Jesus said, Those who live by the sword, DIE by the sword. "Come unto me, all you who suffer and yearn in silence. I will give you peace."
