I always have thoughts that there is something wrong with me in my head. I'm in class my hands are dripping with sweat i cant concentrate, i feel like im going to lose control. Other times i obsess about women constantly, i get angry when they reject me ,some i fantasize about killing. then a majority of the time i always tell myself if it doesn't get better i will kill myself. I deal with these thoughts every day in one form or another i always feel hopeless and tormented by them. By the way i would never act on these thoughts, although i do daydream about them. I obsee about my future and where i want to be vs where i am. i feel like my life is passing me by and there is no one to talk to.

You may have anxiety. High anxiety. Anxiety often bounces between depression and the nervous symptoms you describe. People try self medicating by using alcohol but that just brings temporary relief. alcohol eventually makes it much much worse untill you cant even leave the house. Anxiety can come from many places, genetic, hormonal, or unresolved issues. If its unresolved issues then its part of growing up. A 16th century Zen Master said "the worst horse is the best horse" . this means your experiences, as bad as they are, are actually making you a better person. Its deepening your soul. You need to get to the root of it, is it neurotic behavior or is it biochemistry. I recommend finding a good MSW social worker, you may have to see 3 or 4 before you find one that clicks. Stop worrying and start acting. Life on the otherside is great. Go to the library and get "BISCH, Louis E.
BE GLAD YOU'RE NEUROTIC " . Many many people feel the way you do. They hide it or drown it in alcohol. I say use the anxiety, deepen your soul, become stronger from it, and grow out of it. Learn meditation, deep relaxation, yoga in combination with visits to a social worker. You've taken the first step in getting help - you are talking to people about it. Thats such a huge step ! !! It may take 1 year of hard work but hay, its better than the alternative, right?

Well, you can talk to a counselor but you can also try to raise our self esteem a bit first perhaps, get a physical checkup to see if there is something physically wrong, make sure to take a daily vitamin since depending upon how you eat, that could be a factor, and for your concentration, try to get some DMAE from a health food store since that will improve both your concentration and memory, costs only about $5, and it is all natural - no side effects at all. I will give you a link to one book for self esteem that may help but there are others as well. You may find that once you boost your self esteem you will make more friends that you ca talk to and won't be rejected as much. Good Luck to you!!

You need to get some help. It sounds to me like an overactive thyroid. You may start by going to a physician who can order blood tests. They found I had an overactive thyroid through the blood tests. Mine was mild, but your symptoms sound typical, although severe, for Graves disease (named for the guy who came up with it, not for what it does to you). The endocrinologist is the "thyroid guy", the doctor.

Treatment will be painless (small pinch at the blood test excepted), and they can treat the thyroid. Be patient with them, as dosages are more an art than a science. They'll inform you about that in more detail, but I would definitely get to a doctor if I were you.

Best wishes, and I hope this helps.

Look in the phone book for the suicide hotline. It is completely confidential and they are there to talk to you. It doesn't have to be about suicide, either. They will be able to get you the help that you need. Sometimes, all you need is a professional to tell you that what you are thinking and feeling is the same as everyone around you, or not. But definitely call someone.

well, you have issues, stop worrying about whats going to happen so far in the future and just live right now in the moment. go up and ask one of these girls out and if they say no fu** them. try another one. you cant, like you said, let your life pass by cuz your too nervous about asking someone out! then youll live like that forever. especially if your pushing 35 40. cuz you about over the hill. you need to get over your self, ask a girl out and fu** her, youll feel much better im telling You!
