Whenever you staryt to worry just be like "Oh I gotta do something."Try Running wich releases endorphins wich make you happy and try to surround yourself with positive thing. You'll get through this.Your mind does whatever you tell it to so tell yourself to stop worrying and eventually you'll do it.

ive done it for years. i feel for you. i totally understand it is no joking matter. For stress, you can ask your doctor for a mild anti-anxiety medicine. I was given Buspar. It will cause you to relax. It will not make you high or anything. It is relatively safe and non-habitforming. You probably would only need it for a short time. Other things you can do is imagery. You must learn to recognize when you are stressing and practice relaxation techiniques. What I used to do is lay down flat. Then close your eyes lightly. Relax. Imagine yourself lying on a beach at the each of the water. You feel the tide rolling in and out. You feel nothing but utter peace. As the tide rushes in over your whole body, covering all of you, including your head....you begin to feel the pull of the gentle tide going back out. As the tide is moving back out...you will feel all the stress and worries that have been plagueing your mind....being pulled and washed away with the tide. Everytime the tide rushes in you will feel the stress becoming lighter and lighter until its all gone. You can hear seagulls, etc. whatever makes you feel at peace.
Do not expect this to work over night. It takes practice. You have to learn to focus, and let go.
Another thing that you must do if possible...get a good day of exercise everyday. Even if you just start out by walking around the block until you slowly increase the activities in your daily exercise. It will help you relax and get a better night's sleep.
I wish you well. I wish i was there to help you. I totally understand your pain. I also understand jerks that make fun because the think its all in your mind. You work on yourself and get relief. God bless. If you need me...chat with me anytime...on yahoo. chandrabali_dutta

there are a lot of good programs on the internet to get you to the point that you can deal with this so just put "anxiety attacks" in our search engine and see what you find. You can also go to lef.org and look for anxiety there and see what you find, such as the fact that melatonin may help some people with Seasonal Anxiety Disorder. You may want to get a good physical examination as well to make sure that there isn't a physical reason for that.
If you keep track of when you feel this, perhaps you can approach that situation little by little and overcome the feeling that way. Check in your local phone book for agoraphobic groups and perhaps there is a meeting there in your area where you can join others in learning how to deal with this. A friend of mine had panic attacks and was able to eventually bet past that by meeting with others who supported her as she supported them.
Good Luck to you and I hope you beat this!!

I have depression and anxiety since i was in junior high and my father and his family have it so does my brother. I used to have panic attacks and then whenever i get upset i just try to breath deeply and try to relax. Well now i have RSD which is a disease causing chronic nerve pain and my blood pressure and pulse have be alarming high from being in constant pain I was even in the hospital cuz of my heartrate i had palpations. So now im on Xanax (anxiety medicine) and i have been on it for a week i feel better my pulse is still alittle high but its not ponding in my chest or my chest dosn't hurt anymore. So I suggest going to a doc cuz sometimes it can get serious it slowly affects your body you will get sick eventually. (I did not get RSD from anxiety so don't worry that you will. I fell at work) Email me anytime if you need someone to talk to.

i used to have bad anxiety attacks most for no reason they would just pop up, one way i got over it was to try not to think about it or removed myself from trigger situations
