If we take 'the supposition of identical abilities and characteristics' out of the discussion, so that we are only left with the same criteria by which 'all men who neither being identical are legally afforded the same status of equality', what legitimate basis can there be for dismissing a need for the legal equality of all women with all men (especially including all countries as a definition and function of Human Rights)?

It happens heaps, but just happened now when I got woken up from a nap on the couch, I saw a spider, looked more like a weird oval shaped animal with lots of legs - and although I can tell now that it didn't even look like something that existed, I was pointing at it showing my husband saying what the hell is that... he's now saying that it happens heaps (I wake him up to say there is spiders in the bed . ... when of course there is not)

I'm a 28 year old women, healthy, sleeps okay (as good as you can with 2 young children) and I don't know what the go is... it's been happening for years - I would even say my whole life - has anyone had this, knows anyone thats had this, or has an idea why I see spiders...

In real life i"m not even that scared of spiders - only like normal people don't like them and kill them... but I'm not freaked out by it

It is an phenomenon that seems to repeat itself throughout history, and affects every form of government even attempted communism. But I am wondering is there a name for it?

Those in power often seem to become narcissistic, and start to view politics as a game. The actual form of government takes on a life of its own, and people seem to enjoy the political "lifestyle".

It becomes an game almost like that played by socialites. It is all about influence, and manipulation. Often the issues themselves, actually affecting the common people, are not even cared about.

This happens repeatedly, and all you have to do is look at society. The politician is like an actor. He strives to uphold an image, and has a retinue to do so. He strives to be re-elected. He cares more about fulfilling his image and popularity than the actual issues he is concered with. He even has someone else write speeches.

I wonder what sociology or psychology considers the cause of this, and why?

I have read varying reports and there is no necessarily set standard, though I have read that anything between $100,000 and $200,000 is upper middle class, but then sometimes anything over $80,000 I have read is upper middle class.

Any insight?

I work in a Private IVF centre as an embryologist. There is a Receptionist here whoz not much educated. Not so good looking. But she thinks quite high of herself. She doesn't have manners to speak. Speaks very arrogantly. Actually the reason behind her arrogance is that there are few idiots here who are behind her. Constantly trying to speak to her & look out for chances to even touch her. Thats why she thinks quite high of herself. Otherwise she is good for nothing.

Ok, every time I drive home I pass by a near cliff...and almost every time I approach this cliff I get an intense emotion to drive off of it. I'm not crazy, and I'm garenteed I won't ever do a thing like that, but I don't know...its a weird feeling.

"Gullible" would be the obvious answer, but what about someone who's very logical and very careful about what he believes who buys into some theories to the point that it affects his lifestyle? What is it that causes this?

The only thing that I can think of is that they can't accept that some things are just flukes or considences. They have to see a reason behind everything.

Dream: I’ve been helping organise my own funeral, like, I knew I was dying, and I was looking forward to it! My friend Curt got really upset with me, and told me to die after his Birthday party. So when it ended, we all rushed back to this old little shack / house thing, and started decorating it, putting flowers up (Getting it ready for a funeral) it was all right to go, looking great – then my alarm clock went off.

I know it speculative but I was hoping someone with more knowledge of economics might like to give me their opinion.

I am from UK but now live in US. I am selling my house shortly (UK) and will have a considerable sum of money coming to me in GBP. With the dollar nose diving to european currencies is it wise to change my GBP to USD or wait for now. Whats the chance of the dollar recovering anytime soon??

Any advice of feedback would be much appreciated.
