A perfect example is fantasy football or baseball; I have never met a woman who has been interested in following rather stupid "fantasy" sport competitions and it always seems to be the men who host ESPN or stay up Monday nights to watch football or go to horse races or are die-hard baseball fans. I would like an evolutionary-based answer rather than a sociological one, because it is obvious that Western men are raised in more sport-oriented environments and are pushed to play sports more than women are.

They come across as a very happy, close-knit, traditional family. Do you think they're really like that or is it an act?

entering the market. Consider each of the following scenarios and determine whether the source of monopoly power derives from the fact that a key resource is owned by a single firm, from the government giving a single firm the exclusive right to produce some good, or from the fact that the costs of production make a single producer more efficient than a large number of producers.

Scholastic is the exclusive publisher of the Harry Potter series in the United States because it owns the copyright to the books.

A. Scholastic owns a key resource used to produce Harry Potter books.
B. The government gives a single firm the exclusive right to produce Harry Potter books.
C. It is less expensive for one publisher to print Harry Potter books than for many producers to do so.

Men don't want to pay for a child they don't want, and abortion is legal, so the mother can abort. No harm done, right? I hear women saying a woman should be able to abort for no reasons if she so wishes, and aborting because you won't be financially supported seems like a good reason to abort.

If a man and a woman have sex, and the woman gets pregnant, then she should abort if the man does not want it. If she doesn't, then she should be on her own financially. The only time men should have to pay child support, is after the baby is born, then he should have to pay.

This solution would make it more fair towards every party involved; the father because he won't have to pay for a child he does not want; the mother because she'll still be in total control over her body; the child because he won't have to be born and raised without a father.

Does it shamelessly degrade women?

Or is it a joyous celebration of the beauty of the female "back"?

Nothing is wrong with me. My family is having problems. I am not. Basically, in 4 hours I am going to have to go talk to some moron who thinks he knows me based on what my parents have told him. Well, he doesn't know me. They have sent me to counselors before because they think I am mental. My mom told me the other day "we just want to see if you have schizophrenia or some kind of neurodegenerative disease." OMG! She doesn't even pronounce either of those terms correctly. Yahoo! Doesn't even know how to spell it lol.

I have gotten out of talking to the other counselors simply by not talking, because they get tired of me "wasting their time" <-- EXCUSE ME? I have nothing wrong with me and they think I am wasting THEIR time? I talked to the first counselor... told him their was nothing wrong with me and explained all of the misunderstandings. Truth be told, I am a genius, I try not to show it at school, or amongst my friends (normal people, not nerds) but I need help to get out of this.

Or, if you are already old, could you have imagined yourself being or looking the way you do?

I just can't imagine myself being old. I mean, it feels so akward even thinkg about being old.

I am not insulting old people, but I am asking this question from a psychological point of view.

ok, last night i had a very vivid dream but before i go into i want to give an idea of what is going on in my wakin life. early this year i found out my husband may have had an affair, a woman told me she had been with my husband. it wrecked my life and make me very depressed... after 11 months of this we are finally in a place of forgiveness. he has never admitted he cheated physically but i do know it happened at least once with this woman......

here was the dream, sorry if its a little scattered we were in the old back yard of a long time friend and we were buying a dog, the dog was happy and jumping on me. then we were in the driveway and he confessed to cheating numerous times with numerous women and that he going to a paternity hearing for a child.... i was screaming at him.. then we were in my old bedroom when i was a teenager, in the house i grew up in and i was confessing to him that i had cheated on him when i was young and that i also kissed a man from work recently ( bo

Don't they realize that by remaining silent, they're condoning the belief that all women have um... smelly, itchy problems?

Do they have one? Should they? The power of beauty for a woman is far, far greater than for a man. Of course men have other powers, but that's not what I"m asking about. It's like having a card game where some of the players get handed much better cards than other players, but we're not supposed to notice, right?
I'm sure that historically, the power of female beauty manifested itself differently, more dangerous to the attractive woman. Not today,...... it's basically all benefits, except perhaps resentment from other women. Don't attractive women have more opportunities than the average man? What is feminism's perspective on this?

What word(s) make you feel annoyed, anxouse, sad, or angry just when someone says it. No matter the relevence or the mood you where in before.

Examples
"Calm down" (some said to me "screw you, I was calm" when I said it)
"Obviously" (their answer back was "it's not 'obvious' or I wouldn't ask.")
"Even an idiot would know..." (my answer "you have a master's degree in this field, I never knew it existed. How would I know anything about it!")
