No. That would be back stabbing your friend and losing her trust. If she didn't like him anymore then it would still be homey hopping and that's bad mojo in it self. Fem or not, that's just respect. Keep in mind your chicks come before *****.

I got it, darn moral delima huh? Ether way, your percieved ideals about feminism's take on the male role within the moral delima of taking on a best-friends ex is missed placed. Only thing I figure you were aiming at had to do with some idea about how males shouldn't be treated the same. Like males "bro's before hoes" idea. Which is more of a "thug" culture ideal about people who are declared as "hoes". In this situation thou her, still liking him, even with the "thugs" mentaility applied is just uncalled for, and unfair, sort of the other side of that coin..... "Don't touch your bro's girl" which you can tell a persons loyatily by their ability to understand why.

Andrea what has this to do with feminism? I just don't see the feminism connection. BTW if a person wants to go out with you ... why not? In any event whether it was right or not might have little to do with anything would it?

Feminism doesn't explore issues like this; this is more of a question for Singles & Dating. But if you want my opinion, I wouldn't do it. Your best friend should be more important to you than a guy. She would never fully forgive you if you went out with him. You should both either try new guys, or just be single. If this guy knows that your friend is hung up on him, it's wrong for him to try to be the catalyst that breaks down your friendship.

This doesn't have anything to do with feminism. This belongs in "dating" or perhaps "etiquette."

But no. It's really bad form and will cause your friend pain. Don't do that. There are other boys.

What kind of a friend are you? Do you suddenly hate your friend and want to hurt her for some reason? No? Then don't go out with her ex, ESPECIALLY if you know she still likes him.
