If it is unique, that is. The first question I asked on Yahoo Answers was something pertaining to my personality--how much I absolutely detest people who drive with complete disregard to traffic laws and safety. Something that still irritates me but I wanted to share my feelings and find others who agree with me.

What was the first question you asked on YA and why?

For example 1 litre of water in a developing nation costs $x to produce. So if I was raising money I would need to raise $x to fund the production of 10,000 litres factoring in build costs etc.

About a year ago I had a dream dat my b.friend died in an accident den 2 days after dat dream he was in a accident and he passed on. since then I have had atleast 7 other dreams that have come true, 3 of them where of ppl in my family and the other 4 was of ppl I dont even know but I saw it in my dream and watever I dreamt of, I learned about it some days later thru media but all of it was just like the details in my dream. These dreams really scare me sometimes coz the pain that the ppl feel at the time of death in my dream is felt thru me. Im afraid of this dream and I dont know how to control it or how to make it help me to help the ppl in my dream. The dreams started again 3 days ago and a relative passed y.day, altough the details was not the same but they were similar. he was in hospital but i felt the pain in my dream. nobody seems to believe me about these dreams. pls can someone tell me wats this all about..... For my Human Evolution exam I have to remember from Homo habilis through to Homo sapien and all there general characteristics and when they were around.

I have until the 27th November to learn these as well as studying for 3 other very important exams. I am in my last year of high school so it doesn't have to be too detailed.

Any suggestions of how I can learn this quickly?

Thanks =]

whats going on...

mood swings, slurring speach, irrational behaviour and thoughts... jumpy, unable to follow a conversation, blatently telling lies, then 10 mins late denying it and saying i made it up, feeling cold..

appearing to be pissed off their face after a glas of wine and worse after two..

i can honestly say, that i have never refused someone a further drink, but i felt responsible and so did...

erm, mistaking me for someone else... not remembering who they know that we have as common friends, and really actually appearing to think i was a different person to who i actually am...

frankly that was a little scary..

any ideas what the F ?? please.

I Can't imagine living without toilet facilities or toilet paper and not thinking this is not going backwards . Credit should go to science for approaching the real Garden of Eden through engineering and other scientific progress . Someday as we approach more and more close to an utopian society I hope our morality and honesty will not take it for granted .

People often argue that a national consumption tax will cause people to buy less goods, because of the increased price they will have to pay.

1. This is bad because it lowers GDP correct?

2. Isn't this also good because people save more, making more money available in the financial system?

3.Also, I hear the counter argument that the increase in prices of goods will be offset because the companies making them will be paying less taxes. I think they say that goods now are 20% higher in price because of these built in taxes. Would a fair tax really eliminate these built in taxes and lower the price of the good?

4. I often hear that "money goes overseas to avoid our tax system" and that the fair tax would bring this money back. True or False?

So I heard Ron Paul say that he wants to abolish the federal reserve. I hear this mostly as a quick soundbite. I never hear any real explanation of this. Is this a good idea or a bad idea? Do any other politicians support this? I would think hardly any economists would support this. Am I wrong?

I can't switch jobs, the money is phenomenal here and I do love my job.

I have a hard time staying 'happy' and 'pleasant' with my on call patients. I get so tired of them wanting to know the gender of their baby when I am trying to find out whats wrong with their baby.

I get tired of them getting mad when the gender isn't what they wanted. I get tired of watching them drug, drink, smoke their baby to death in utero.

I get tired of doing meth addicts tripping out etc.

I work odd hours, I don't sleep well with being on call and up all different times of the night.

I get the next day off after being on call, but that is spent recouping from the previous night.

I plan small trips on weekends, I have mules and spend alot of time with them when I am not working.

What is your advice for burnout, what keeps you motivated? When you see the worst of human nature, how do you go back to the same grime the next day?

Any ideas?
Thanks!

I normally think that fear is what keep us alive. Bravery is what can lead to death but its also can be a symbolic to heroic. These things can be base on military issue or our daily routine. Would you rather be scared or brave?

I was in a car accident 4 years ago that left me in a coma for two weeks. and i woke up to my wife divorcing me ( I don't blame her though).
I still have not rebounded socially, and contemplate suicide several times a day. I see a councilor and am on an antidepressant ( the one that worked the best of all the ones i have tried) but still suicidal.
My mind seems to have two flavors to it (outward) jealous and violent thinking, and (Inward) Suicidal idealization of self destruction.

I hide this all very well at my full time job and while going to college full time.

I really hate the fact that i am a 5'6" guy, and blame all of my lacking social life on the fact that "girls want tall guys", "not little shrimps" Shorties are supposed to be girls.

Any help for the crazy guy here?
its not as fun as it sounds......

As I was saying, her latest boyfriend is the most scary. Too long to go into but I haven't liked him since the day we 1st met. 1 evening, my child asked me why she couldn't drive since her friend could (remember, both are only 8). Her friend said "You weren't supposed to tell. It's a secret." I asked her what she meant by "driving". Long story short, recent scary live-in boyfriend (who both celebrated their sobriety by drinking, since June) is letting her sit on his lap while he's driving. When my child & I were alone, I told her that she could NEVER go across the street & play inside her friend's house when boyfriend is there. The mom has been constantly at me to let my child spend the night. 2 weeks ago, she kept on pressing & I told her. (She & boyfriend are extremely vulgar, hot tempered & curse badly.) There have been 3 incidents each calling me the F word since, in front of the children, when she's tried to break my rule. Yesterday-the final straw. What should I do? Move?
