I would rather be brave. Bravery leads to confidence and there are definitely some situations where I need more of that.

Both. I believe the human makeup can give you both and give them correctly depending on the situation. Now, some people take either to the extreme and you end up with idiots and cowards.

If I'm walking down a city street at night and a gang comes out of nowhere wielding knives and chains. I want to be scared to death and have that extra burst of speed that comes from that fright to get away to live another day.

If I am in a fox hole next to my buddy and the enemy is getting close and he is depending on me to stand my ground and save his life as he is saving mine. I want to be brave and have that gung-ho attitude.

if by brave you mean yo have courage. And courage is not the absence of fear but the realization of it and ability to continue. I would choose bravery which still means I'd be scared.

How about bravery and intelligence? Don't need fear if you can figure out how to survive, and still do the right thing.

i think bravery comes from understanding and properly assessing your fears.

i have been scared out of my mind and yet still able to come out looking brave to the people that were witness to my actions

In USC

the science center

Being scared is one of your most important thing to have

without sence of shock we'd be dead like if we feel somethin that feels like a spider or snake we take our hand out!
