Well, this IS a unique one, I must say!
I can't say I have ever had a problem like this - and, to my knowledge, neither has ANYONE ELSE I have ever encountered in this life. (And in 63 years, I have encountered a LOT of people!)
You must have a VERY unusual and interesting lifestyle!

However, it is not hard to figure out how to rig a makeshift "burglar alarm".
I think the ideas posted ahead of mine, about blocking or locking your door, are spot-on but so obvious that you MUST have thought of them already, yourself, and then rejected them for some reason.
So I would suggest that you find something that makes a lot of noise when stepped-on - like a really crinkly paper or cellophane - and put some around your bed at the distance at which you want to detect your unwanted visitor(s). Disable the light so he, she or they can't use it to detect your "alarm", but keep a really bright flashlight within your own easy reach.

Alternates to the crinkly paper may be something grainy that crackles when walked-on. Or move your bed into a corner which immediately blocks off TWO approaches to it and use furniture or boxes to block off most of the remaining approaches. Then, in the part you leave open, put something like a loud squeak-toy and cover it with your clothing - so it will look as if you just threw your clothes on the floor when you went to bed.

There are any number of variations on these ideas - think about them and experiment with the various possibilities.

Over the years when I workd in a correctional facility I have developed a certain sense to almost sense someone coming my way, also works when sleeping standing up or with eyes open, sometimes at night I tend to wake up thinking someone is outside or inside my house. If you're a light sleeper just the presence of someone in the room can send a vibe waking you up, so as if you were alone at a library and even sencing a spirit presence, if you belive in that sorta thing, can make you feel teh vibe, we are all energy and believe it or not, negative or positive we can convey it to other people when we walk into a place or are around certain people.

When ever I thought this was happening, I just bought a door wedge so no one could get it to the room, I slept easier.

Beefcake has it right or with me being on the other side of the bars: I sleep...while still asleep, according to me mom & wife : one eye opens & follows them around the room, if they get to close I wake-up. it drives both of them nuts.
