I am 27 - I had a very vivid dream about going back to high school - not the high school I attended, but a more modern one...Anyways, I was on my way to 5th hour - looking down at my schedule it said the class was titled "Montana" (I live in michigan, no ties to montana whatsoever)- I was late to class, so the teacher locked the door. I guess I stood outside the classroom, til the class was over... but then couldn't find my way to 6th hour, a class titled "Dying".
I don't remember anything else afterwards - I just remember how it was weird I was having this dream.

Any interpretations?

When I sleep I dream deep mutlilayered dreams in which I live whole lifetimes, or relive historic events, or see through the eyes of character in places I ahve never been. I love, cry, laugh...all of it...in my sleep. My daughter tell me sometimes I cry and laugh and speak. I have written down the more interesting wonderful and terrible rememberances...

but does it mean anything to dream so intensely?

OK, tell me why if we are all so poor, and our country is in such debt, why can't we just print more money? Can't the treasury do that and get us out of debt? Since I've never taken Economics, how does actually printing more money decrease the value of the dollar??Stupid question, but I'd love to hear the reasoning!

The paper is due in about a month and he really hasn't given me any direction as far as how to write an anthropology paper. This is for an independent readings in anthropology course. Anybody know of any resources that shows you how to frame anthro papers?

You go along with a crowd to watch “Return of the Killer Tomato That Devoured Cleveland.” As an example of the actor-observer effect, you are likely to believe that

a. Everyone else in the crowd is almost exactly as interested (or uninterested) in the movie as you are
b. The others are really interested in the movie, even though your main desire is just to be with the crowd
c. The others are less interested in the movie than you are
d. The people in the crowd will act much like the characters (including the monster) in the movie

I know that the actor-observer effect is the tendency to attribute internal causes more often for other people’s behavior & external attributions more often for one’s own behavior. Your an “actor” when u try to explain the causes of ur own behavior and an “observer” when u try to explain someone else’s behavior. We see other people as objects in our visual field & we tend to think that whatever we're watching is the cause of the action..

And isn't that insulting to gay men who are "great men"?

Or is that implying that all great men had great mothers?

What exactly is that saying supposed to mean? What about great fathers and husbands? No credit?

I am a teenager who wanted to do the work of Christ when I grew up. My uncle also once had a vision that I was weraing shepherd's clothing(or I would do the work of God). Recnetly, I felt that didn't want to do that when I grew up and just lead a normal life. Can't I change my future? Isn't it in my hands? I sometimes feel like a slave to God's will. Inasmuch as how much I wanted to do his work when I grew up and probably still do, I'm having second thoughts and feel like I should just lead a normal life. If I want to lead a normal life, then will my uncle's vision have to come true when I don't want it to come true? I have a little problem in my mind here and don't understand what I really want anymore. Please help me as I am scared to make a decision. (I have also thought of leading a normal life and after some years going to do God's work).

Does this make sense?

Are their people out there who are happy, not being happy? Now I'm not talking about a cynic, because I'm a cynic myself. But I do wanna find genuine happiness in my like.

I'm talking about the people who just seemingly are happy, being not that happy. Is this just the nature of some people? Or is it caused?

Does that makes sense? If not, just move on to the next question and don't bother making fun of me.

I'm not a realy girly girl. I was raised with 4 brothers. I like to fish. I love dogs and, really, all animals. I'm not much of a cook unless it's relatively easy. I work for a pest control company and find it very interesting (office manager). I'm not a kid person. I like to read some, not a whole lot. I'm not a gardner.
And I'm a little bit of a loner. I love to travel and have done quite a bit. My son is on his own now. Does anyone have any suggestions on a hobby or something to give my life some purpose?
Please keep your rude answers to yourself. This is a sincere question for the Yahoo Answers Community. Thanks.

Now adimittedly there are only a very very rare few who are at the very extremes of the spectrum, most of us are somewhat balanced between the two with slight leanings towards the other.

Which appeals to your nature, someone who feels more compfortable in bustling, active and loud environments, or someone quieter and more reserved?

Don't just use these descriptions, you can rpovide your own example as to why you like one over the other.

I find it interesting that so often we get sick of other people. People we work with day in and day out tend to grate at us after awhile. We get sick of their personalities or sometimes even the way they carry their voice at the end of a sentence. Too much time with certain people can become fatal. Which leads me to wonder about the one person we spend ALL of our time with, ourselves. Do you ever get tired of hearing your own voice? Tired of your own personality? Obviously it wouldn't be something that would occur daily or weekly because then we would just change ourselves. But, on occasion, have you ever gotten sick of yourself?

I can tell you personally that I have. It might happen once or twice a year, but not often. I will hear myself talk or crack a joke and almost annoy myself. I am not necessarily talking about the kind of thing where you can just change who you are.

So lets hear it, do you ever get worn out with yourself?

do official statics mean anything? Example, if someone worked cash in hand they wouldn't show up on any offical statistics. Unemployment could be 8 million, the government might say 1.5. your thoughts.

that girls, young women, and women are looking to fill a void, that was left by a poor (or no) relationship with their fathers. Do you generally see the guy you want to date, are dating, or are married as a father figure and rely on him to fill that void?

I know there are some people out there with actually medical issues so this question wont even involve them. I wont even talk about those classified as obese according to the BMI because according to that Im obese which is far from being the case.

My question is how can someone allow themselves to get to be 500lbs+ let alone anything above 300?

I cant comprehend it. Do they not understand portion control let alone control in general? My partner is 210 5'8" and admits to not having control so I put him on a diet and monitor his eating habits to get him to loose weight but what about the other 70% of Americans?

The other thing that I cant stand and am really disgusted with is women who are way overweight and think they look good in tight clothes meant for someone 1/8 of their size. When I see a plus size dress tastefully I let them know and commend them on it.

I already have an appointment but I need to know something before or get an idea. My son is 17 pretty much a good kid likes to be alone but there are certain things that are concerning me:
has no emotional feelings. We just lost our cat yesterday that weve had for yrs and all he could say is That sucks Hes always been like that. His father died when he was 9 he said he's better off. Hes verbally abusive to the younger kids and I catch him yelling or smacking the 6yr old in the head when I have told him not to!
Doesn't seem to care about anything.Today we are meeting with a social worker to determine if our family needs any help.People came to my house uninvited yesterday and my house is a wreck im alone with a clingy toddler I asked him to please stay home from school just for today to help me out with the baby(he's never been absent, yet fails all his classes)and he said he wanted to go to school. I begged him and he said no.I told him we might be separated,no emotion. What is it?
