I am 27 - I had a very vivid dream about going back to high school - not the high school I attended, but a more modern one...Anyways, I was on my way to 5th hour - looking down at my schedule it said the class was titled "Montana" (I live in michigan, no ties to montana whatsoever)- I was late to class, so the teacher locked the door. I guess I stood outside the classroom, til the class was over... but then couldn't find my way to 6th hour, a class titled "Dying".
I don't remember anything else afterwards - I just remember how it was weird I was having this dream.

Any interpretations?

>> Going back to school can represent learning life lessons.
A more modern school could represent that you may be out of touch somehow & you may need a new perspective on things.

>>Montana could represent the new perspective, (a new area/way of thinking) but I'm not sure. It could be a word pun of some sort.

>> The fact that you were late to the 5th (Five can represent your persuasiveness, spontaneity, daring/bold nature, action or the five human senses. This number may reflect a change in course. It is also the link between heaven and earth.)
class & the door was locked ~ doors can represent entering a new phase ~ could be reinforcing that you need to look into a new perspective about something again, but you are not embracing this fully at the moment ~ hence the locked door.

>> Dying (6th class~Six is indicative of cooperation, balance, tranquility, perfection, warmth, union, marriage, family, and love. Your mental, emotional, and spiritual states are in harmony. It is also indicative of domestic bliss.)
in dreams can represent a new phase/level to our lives ~ but you didn't get there ~ related to the locked door of the 5th class, I think ~ before you can take on a new project/way of life, you need a new perspective on some issues, related maybe to the 5th class before you do enter into a new project/way of life, I think.
Hope this helps. Ciao!

Hi Cyn, dreaming of being in school means we are telling ourselves we need to learn something or are in the process of learning. It being a "modern" school, probably means you need to update your thinking. Now, Montana is an odd class to have, isn't it? So, I would say you need to modernize your odd ideas about something, or modernize and update your thinking because you are losing out on opportunities. (Being late to class and being locked out.) The next class, "dying", means you need to update the way you think about transitioning into other areas of your life. Not being able to find your way to the new class means you probably feel "lost" about how to go about making these needed changes.
The dream is you talking to yourself. I hope the interpretation rang some bells for you. If it did, happy to have helped. Good luck.

This sounds very much like an anxiety dream. I use to get those all the time, but after I learned to deal with real life issues, those dreams died down. I still get one every once in awhile though.
