Yes some of us change a little and some of us change a lot and some of us do not change at all. A good example of changing, middleage can make a person change. I knew someone that had a partner at work and he acted like his partner, Then they changed his work partner and he also and he started to pick up new habits from the new partner. Another expample a 55 year old man said when he was in high school he had long hair and all the girls liked him. He wanted to know if he still had it. So he let his hair grow long again at 55 years old now he has two girlfriends.

It's about humility and a good heart. A proud person can seem "good" but never admit their flaws or think they should change. I always seek to find how I can better myself as a person...I had horrible flaws and worked hard to change them. I'm a work in progress everyday.
We are doomed to repeat the mistakes we don't acknowledge.

people do change through times of change and events, it is not always good because people can change for the better or for the worse but it is up to them how they change but remember that everyone does make mistakes but they learn from it to become a much better person in the future. :)

People never change. They might stop doing something for a while but there will always be a part of them that still wants to. As soon as something in their life goes bad and they get depressed they go right back to their old ways.

You are trying to judge you Dad and his friends from your perspective.Who gave you the right to judge others? Your Dad and his friends may be right in their own views and do not see any necessity to change. They may not be aware of your thoughts as well. So, it is advised that you may not worry over their attitude and look after your own thinking on right path.

Yes, people can change in many ways, bad and good. Aperson can aslo change his/her personality and appearence. A lot can change from a person, and it's a lot to explain.

It's very rare for people to change for the right reason, but often enough for the bad. At least you know the difference.
