You always talk about women being "empowered." Do you view a woman who explicitly uses sex appeal to get ahead in her career as "empowering" herself?

life is just getting too hard! i feel that i am only alive for the sake of it!
i just get soo annoyed with myself! I'm so crap at everything! and everyone annoys me telling me to not be so hard on myself, but the thing is I'm not. i just tell the truth to myself!
even teachers bring it up at each interview time.
i hate ppl telling me i'm a pessimistic, cos i'm not. i always say nice things to other ppl. i could never say anything bad to anyone else!
and everyone just expects so much of me! n it's just too much pressure! i can't answer a question in class without having to worry bout getting it wrong, or not doing it fast enough! it was like this at my old school too!
i just wish my life was over!!!
just the fact of waking up in the morning even depresses me!!
i just can't cope much longer!
and i won't denie i have been considering suicide for the past few years, but always hang off hoping times will get better, but they just won't!!!!

It would seem that while feminists are claiming that we blame them for every thing I have read and answered many questions where men and anti feminists are being blamed by the feminists. And if you would give an example of how to resolve this so the real work of equality can be gotten too.

My boss was pissed the other day and he told me that I basically told me i need to improve upon a few factors in my job and that he is having doubts about me in my ability to perform the duties of my job. He was kind of a dick about it.

Another girl, with the same position as mine, i worked with opened the store too late and left the backdoor unlocked.

Do you think my manager is saying the same crap to him?

I've heard feminists say that more women suffer domestic violence on Super Bowl Sunday than any other day of the year. Many even went so far as to suggest that the Super Bowl should be eliminated entirely. Do you feminists here agree with that sentiment?

I graduated with a major in computer Science.

But I have this thing: I have never had a job, and don't feel qualified for something in my degree.

Is this normal? or do people feel confident of applying in jobs related to their major when they graduate?

the thing is that I don't know if my fears are normal but without a basis or if they are true and really I'm not qualified for any of those jobs.

When I see all the requirements in job postings, I just feel overwhelmed and want to get away and forget about everything.

Other times, I go back to my college books and try to remember things I have already forgotten.

I don't know I just feel bad.

There's this girl at my school. She's kind of wierd. today, I was touching a balloon that one of my teachers had hung up, and the girl was screaming, nooooooo. saying don't touch it. wait until I'm gone. And when the girl left one of her close friends pulled me to the side and told me that she has a phobia of balloons and she doesn't know why. Do you think something in her childhood caused it? Why is she so weird?
