I have had dreams where I know I am dreaming and try to wake myself up and I can't. I always see myself in whatever room I fell asleep in and on whatever couch/bed I fell asleep on. I will be having a dream where someone is trying to get in such as a burglar or fictional character such as Chuckie and I will become afraid. I then try to wake myself up, but can't. I can't move either. I try to make myself slap myself awake, roll off the bed to awaken, scream for someone to wake me up (but no sound comes out) or anything to just wake up and I can't. Eventually I do with my heart racing and feeling afraid to go right back to sleep for fear of continuing the dream. It is really horrifying not to be able to wake up. What is this called and can anyone give me some info on it?

How do you deal with it? Do people act up because they are intimidated sometimes? What does it really mean?

I just saw a post discussing intimidation and I thought I could as well ask :)

have you ever wondered how your family would be after you passed away?

Like wonder if you could see your funeral just to see how people would react?

The best way to start to control your dreams is to write them down as best you can remember. List the nouns. Write how you felt about each thing named as a noun (remember colors too and how you felt about them). Keep a journal of your dreams and be vigilant about writing them down. If you need help with a certain noun, look up what it means in a good dream dictionary (check user ratings on the net for a good dream dictionary...some are even online). After a while you will see a pattern to your dreams and will start to realize that you are dreaming while you are dreaming. That's when Lucid dreaming becomes exciting. Your dreams are usually working out something you are not working out while awake. These answers will become self evident once you have gained some experience with your journal and your feelings about what your dreams are trying to relate to you. You may find yourself surprised at how well this works in your everyday life and self-discovery.

You all know it. A quick giggle or smirk when a person falls. What triggers this? Why do we do it?

Why can’t men and women work together to make a better society for humanity instead of fighting amongst themselves over which sex is superior?

Also instead of blaming either sex for how the world is today; why not come up with a solution on how to solve the problems we face as a civilization? I m so sick of the battle of the sexes, I wish we could all just get along with each other. Will we ever get over our reprehensible pride of which sex is "better" and work together as human beings??

Okay, I hate it when people eat my food. I share my house with my evil sister and my mom. But whenever I have some food and realize that some of it's gone, I start to cry involuntarily. How do I stop it? And why does this happen?

I start talking like 300 mph and hesitate a LOT & don't make any sense. Am I doomed to suck at this forever? Will I improve after college - because right now I just can not speak or convey my opinions without having a panic attack.
Anyone feel like this when they were a teenager? Success stories are a plus. Especially if they include Hilary Clinton, however much of a Republican man she is, wow she is smart.

No matter how hard I work or study, I always see myself failing. I work the hardest on projects, yet someone else is given all the credit. I'm the only one left out on bonuses in my company and do miserable in school also. Always discover that everyone else just cheats, but they don't let me in. I know that I am not worse than others, but the results just always turn out that way.

Why do some of us women allow ourselves to fall in love with guys who treat us like crap?
Do we have such low self worth that we can't see their flaws and think we can't get anyone better? What is our issue and for those of us who HAVE actually fallen in love with guys that absolutely do NOT love us back, how do we make ourselve fall out of love with them and what actions do we need to take to show ourselves and those guys we ARE stronger then we appear to be? I could use ANYONES advice at the moment so please, be kinda and realize this is a real question and a real issue I personally am dealing with. Thanks for your time in answering..

Their Trojan Horse technique of attacking capitalism from within and letting it destroy itself through the weight of its own greed and irresponsibility. Had Reagan not meddled with the regulations that protected us from capitalism and capitalism from itself, this might have been avoided, but since when have conservatives been willing to listen to reason?

Comments? :)

I have a horrible reoccuring dream involving clear spiders. You can barely see them until its too late, I usually wake up when the clear spiders start eating my face or something. I had a really awful dream involving the nest of spiders growing under the skin of my forehead, the nest broke one day at work and I had baby clear spider erupting from my head. I figure its because I am afraid of spiders, so I don't really need an interpretation, but are there any other arachnaphobes afraid of clear spiders?

Okay here is the last year of my life:
1) I worked as an intern for a University, I intended on doing Masters, however, I didn't like the low pay, (less than min wage) or anything else that came with it. So I didn't stick to it and quit for a consulting job.
2) I had to exagerate my experience while working at this job cause I was told to. I lost my cool when working at a company and quit my first contract.
3) I was called into the headquarters and freaked out and did some crazy things. I got really irrational and had a panic attack. They thought that the entire thing at my last contract was staged. I told someone I was kidding (about the panic attack) and it was a prety sick joke.
4) I am now in another contract where I am supposed to lie. What should I do should I quit? It would look real bad if I were to quit 3 jobs in a row. However, I don't think I can do what I am supposed to do, and the company I am contracted at is questioning the company I am working for. What should I do?
