For example, I am a Christian but I am indifferent to homosexuals being married. To me if its not inciting physical, mental and emotional damage I should not be concerned?
I did not state my personal opinion about homosexuals. Why do people have a problem with me not caring and believe I should bash homosexuals?

Never mind other people's opinions, they are just that their opinions.

Live and let live, Do What Makes You Happy and if that means not being concerned with the way other people choose to live their lives then you are better off than those who would have you join their misery in bashing others.

I'm with you in choosing tolerance and a relaxed attitude, makes for healthier living.

Do Unto Others As You Would Have Then Do Unto You. :-)

I am also a Christian and the homosexual issue gives me... well issues. I am more on the laid back side too.

I am going to state my personal opinion. I do think the Bible says that homosexuality is wrong. It's says it, and I don't need to dance around that. Overeating is wrong too! ( Hmmmm, maybe we should have a fatty pride parade?) Anyways...

My problem is with Christians hating homosexuals. Hello, we are CHRISTIANS! Love God and love people... that's what Jesus told us to do. Love the person, hate the sin.
When Christians start hating on non-Christian homosexuals, I just want to be like, "Hello? Tell them about Jesus, that's all they need to hear. I think God can handle their sin on His own." Look at 1 Corinthians 5:12-13
"What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? 13God will judge those outside. "Expel the wicked man from among you.""

Christian homosexuals are a whole other story (also see verse above) Well, you should really read all of 1 Corinthians 5 to get the context. Paul tells the Corinthians to throw out this guy whose been having sex with his step-mom so that he will eventually repent and turn back. It's a hard passage and all discipline should be done in love.

We should be concerned about the people's souls.
You shouldn't bash anyone.

Jesus was nice to the whores and called the religious leaders names..... hmmmm. Is anyone taking notes?

Things are getting bad when Christians are disappointed that you don't hate the right people. A long time ago, I hear, it used to be a religion of love and peace.

I think not bashing anyone is an acceptable philosophy that you should continue to follow.

Keeping an open mind to most subjects makes it easier to live by not having alot of stress in your life.

They believe that you are not a "true" christian because you do not follow the beliefs to the highest extreme. "You have to be perfect in the eyes of god and if you do not follow what he says then you are wrong and are going to hell."

Think about it being your life and it being their life. You both have to make your own choices and face the consequences of what choices you make.
