Why can’t men and women work together to make a better society for humanity instead of fighting amongst themselves over which sex is superior?

Also instead of blaming either sex for how the world is today; why not come up with a solution on how to solve the problems we face as a civilization? I m so sick of the battle of the sexes, I wish we could all just get along with each other. Will we ever get over our reprehensible pride of which sex is "better" and work together as human beings??

While what you say makes sense in theory, it will never happen because we don't all have the same utopia.

Discussion is easier than action. Take GUNSFAN for example....he thinks that women have spurned the war. Get real..which sex really creates war?
The truth of the matter is that the most healthy balanced people I know recognized the masculine and feminine within themselves. We all contain both characteristics. Some people fight this truth and get very afraid of finding out who they really are. They cling with white knuckles to a mask they wear. It all comes down to belief systems...that is where racism, sexism, ageism every ism comes from. You won;t be able to change the outside world...without changing your inside world. But there are people that given up this "fight." You can;t make others wake up faster...but believe me people are waking up.

Is it true that men and women can't work together to make a better society for humanity? Is it possible that they can and choose not to? Is it possible that many/most people are working for a better society but their idea of better is not the same as each other's or yours? If men and women could work together would that imply that men could work together? that women could?

Yes! The battle of the sexes is being stirred up by a cottage industry of persons who benefit financially by pointing out, and making too much of, inequality -- on BOTH sides of the gender war. Most people in mainstream America barely notice it any such war, if at all. In contrast, some people in the blogosphere, especially young people, are obsessed with it. As they grow older they'll see there's not nearly so much that separates the sexes as brings us together.

Gosh I recognize what you imply. No one turns out to ever be inclined to take accountability for his or her movements at the moment! Every factor is approximately legislation fits, blame and pointing the finger. Whatever occurred to simply simple historic correcting the errors we make in existence in order that we be taught from them! Sheesh!

I understand what you are saying - why can't we treat everyone as equals and live as equals, as opposed to who is better or not, right?

I think everyone aims for that. However, in my humble opinion, the root of the problem is that people view others as being inferior to them - for example, men look down upon women, lords look down upon servants, celebraties look down upon the general public.

Because of this inferior outlook upon others (however unfair), those looked down upon may need to prove they are superior or better to close this gap. And this is where the arguments of "what you do, we do better" etc etc appear to occur.

In order to appear equal, they have to act better.

I like your question and would be curious as to what spurred it. I too would like to believe that someday man will overcome its need to identify sexes, races, creeds, etc. I do believe that someday we will overcome that, although i also believe that for that to happen, the existence of god will have been disproved.
